Looking for CBG clones or seeds

No type III plant carries an active THC allele. The CBDAS synthase (i.e. the gene responsible for producing mostly CBDA) also produces THCA and some CBCA. At the moment, no mutant CBDA synthases known in the entire world–in a plant or petri dish–has successfully converted CBGA into CBDA without making THCA and CBCA as well.

One of our CBG breeding lines (type IV) carries a THCAS synthase (i.e. gene responsible for producing nearly all THCA, mutated CBDAS synthase) and no functioning CBDAS. It just doesn’t accumulate much THCA or CBDA or CBCA due to shift in one key protein coding region–all it can make is the substrate, CBGA.

Ask Fire Ridge farms about their central role in 2018 distributing “feminized” seed everywhere as “Special Sauce” that were F2s of our 2017 work, but bred using a select female and full blown male phenotype to pollinate (the 1/4000 that pops up in our work). For what it’s worth, he knew better and grew our seed in his personal field that year. I know many are grateful for Matt’s ability to move product, but he’s not on authority on breeding or reading lab results.

Very much appreciate the applause for us @anon1342 while echoing several sentiments shared here: (a) there is choice in the market place and (b) there is a lot of bullshit in the market place. Brash on brash, may data win the day.
