iāve purchased about 9 different strains from mass terpenes and enjoyed them the blue dream worked amazing in my wedding cake bubblehash, totally changing the buzz and flavour profile, the maui melon tasted amazing and also has really good characteristics to the high, the sour grape and grape god were on point, the sour alien was good also, i would recommend this product to many dabbers out there, i even went as far as adding it to flower with good results.
Do botanical Terps give the same entourage effect as canna derived terps?
Everyone says they donāt affect the high but i would argue that.
I say no
Even cannabis derived terps donāt do much. Thereās a difference but itās not crazy
On the topic, indica sativa hybrid marketing stuff - I think itās all made up or just googled and pasted on whoevers website. Wondering @MassTerpenes thoughts on this?

so i think im ready for my full review of the terps from @Betroit and @drjackhughes
Ive been smoking on these terps now for a month straight. I keep 2 pens right now in my cars at all times. One of the cannabis terps from betroit/jackhughes and one of the incredible hulk.
I will say i completely see what they are saying with the undertones of the terpenes. The cannabis ones from betroit/jackhughes just have a few more tones that the hemp terps are lacking. Its super appearent when smoking the pens back to back for referenceā¦
Its really hard for me to smoke the hemp terps pen right nowā¦ I much more enjoy the experience from the betroit/jackhughes terpsā¦
Now for my criticā¦
I dont think they taste anything like live resin or a hydrocarbon extract. when mixed with diamonds and dabbed it was less than an enjoyable experience.
and the price. i think if they were in the $20-30 a ml range it would be very hard not to use these over hemp terps which are under $5 a ml for me.
So what do i feel like they tasteā¦ its really hard to tellā¦ I was smoking gelato diamond, gelato sauce, and flower and didnt feel like the gelato terps tasted like the different things i had here to compareā¦ I did think it tasted like weed 100%. it just didnt taste like fresh cured flower or concentrates. I would compare the taste to like the best zonas youve have ever tried. While it was super tasty, it lacked that dank punch you in the face tasteā¦
So far other than fresh hydrocarbon hte. They have been the best terp product you can actually buy on the market. You cant buy the HTE im smoking cause obviously its like 50% thcā¦ But their terps you can buy and that would be second on the list at this point if money was no object.
i hope they dont look at this as a bad review. Personally id give it 3.5-4 stars with the .5 deduction for price. its definitely light years ahead of botanicalā¦and does beat out hemp terps in my opinion.

I donāt see this as a bad review at all, honest and fair. Which is more than most people will do.
And youve only gotten the one refined terp, which was really not a full spectrum profile, although that gelato was ine of my all time favorites
And those subcritical raw extractions the gorilla glue and gorilla Chem (subcritical raw extraction is weaker than a refined terp )
And those two the gorilla Chem and gorilla glue, with their OG TRAITS , They are like butter, hard to smell the nuance but when tasting in a cart. The nuance is there.

@qma was over yesterday and tried the pens back to back as well. We were pretty much in agreement that there were a number of different terps we were able to pick up on. now we are gonna test it vs the 2018 suver which was probably the highest reviewed terps ive seen and without a doubt the most siezed terps by the police for mistaking it for weedā¦
So whats the solution to get terps that are very similiar to HTE? what about blending hemp/real terps?
What about higher %s in the disty?
If someone wanted to make the best tasting pen what are the top options broā¦
Cuz i tested some hemp and it was straight pickles
use hte if thats the taste you wantā¦
the best pens are using HTE/Distillateā¦ Terps spun off in a centifudgeā¦

If you have smoked straight diamonds with the terps spun off and then adding the terps back you would think different. I know I am not the only one who gets a uppy flat high without the HTE terps added back.

I describe it as āgenerally uncomfortableā usually. Pressure in my head, thoughts get a bit hard to focus on and hang onto, definitely notice the anti-inflammatory properties especially in the lower back though. Feels very sterile and like most of the āfeel goodā bits have been removed.
Too much terps can be weird as well, I liken it to aromatherapy as opposed to medicating. As with most things in life, a proper balance is ideal.

For sure. Hce terps obviously carry more than just basic isolated terps. But I was referring to the cannabis refined terps like ones from @betroit

Yeah the @drjackhughes terps arent as bad as when they were first made. I smoked my shit in the first week and didnt let them cure all that long. Killa left his alone for a month. This is the gelato:
I taste a light fruity tone followed by a pleasant musk. I really wouldnt compare it to zonaā¦ more like a bag of deps that was left in turkey bags for a month too long. It had a bunch of variety of flavor, but everything was light over all.
The Gorilla Glue and Tropical Tsunami (inthink was its name) are still the same though. I tried them carted and with thca, and cured too. When I was dabbing @anon14087681 terps, I tried them again too just in case:
The gorrilla glue taste kind of like mushrooms. I taste a really light sweet green taste, much like bannanas hidden up under that mushroom, almost like mushrooms grown on bananna peels. I donāt taste any butter.
The tropical tsunami is like the girls with big tits and tiny waists, it has no ass. There is a super sweet floral punchy flavor that drives off a cliff. Its so weird it is all forward flavor and no aftertaste. It needs a backend to it, probably to be mixed into hte or a hemp with a musky rear
I think it was mostly the hype going into this for me. I was expecting something like sboproduct or kinsman terps and they werenāt there.
I have the exact same sentiments on hte. I used to roll my eyes when killa expounded the virtues of hte, now I have a person spinning out an ounce a week farming quality carts / syringes. You compare any of the purified terps to hte and they dont compare.

Guess the next step is to take a page out of @Baked-All-Dayās playbook & use some of @AshevilleExtractsā live resin in lieu of terps alone.

you ever tried using 95:5 dist to hte?
would that be more flavor pleasing and minimal hte effects than cdts?
