Looking for a way to press all 100 carts at a time

hello, I am looking for away to press all 100 carts at a time or a better solution then 1 at a time that wont brake the bank . I have seen on here you can use a leather press but every time i order the press they send me the wrong one and been going back and forth with the company or weeks. seeing out there if there is an other solutions.

thank you!

What specific hardware are you using?

I am using a 510 thread press on tip. not the screw on tips

Who’s the manufacturer and what’s the model number of the exact cart your using.

They all require a different amount of force to cap hopefully your manufacturer/distributor can provide you with a spec sheet showing exactly how much force is required to cap one cart.

You’ll then need to multiply that number by how ever many carts you want to cap and find a press that will accommodate that

Then your gunna need to find someone handy with machining things to get you a mold milled and probably some tweaks made to the press so that way it doesn’t end up mashing 10% of your hardware into a fine glassy and oily mess

It’s a fickle bitch

Is the mold so that it will press directly on the mouthpiece instead of squishing the whole foam brick?

I don’t think the amount of pressure that’s gunna be required for this would be friendly with how wiggly those things are gunna be in styrofoam.

You’d want a really tight tolerance where the carts and caps sit so when you hulk smash it they don’t shift and break everything

Ah makes sense! We use a cheapo harbor freight one but can only do 1-4 carts at a time and have to move it around. Wonder if some thick 3d printed jigs would provide enough lateral support. Betcha it would. Thanks man, just another thing I’m gonna shove onto my to do list!

Been eyeing this one, https://vape-jet.com/squish-o-matic-1000/

Yeah that thing is super dope and I think the @VapeJet team is top of the line as far as getting your hardware to work perfectly with their equipment which is a huge time saver over diy and the local jurisdictions tend to like the shiny equipment better than farm hacked shit

Here’s a tool to press 4 avd at a time with a harbor freight 1 ton arbor press, haven’t been able to personally test it

In the case of capping, it’s the other way around. We require samples of the hardware before even quoting the SoM1K

Capping in bulk is about hardware quality. I don’t want to / try to oversell the SoM1K - It’s a big dumb hydraulic press  The magic is all in the carts and the quality / consistency.
