Also, is it worth making bubble hash from trim/shake?

I don’t have much experience with bubble hash yet. I’m looking for a simple home-scale method to learn the process first. If the results are promising, I’d like to transition to a professional-scale process later.
The plan is to run about 1 kg of trim/shake as a test batch and see what kind of results I get.

Google frenchy hash wash. Thats all you need.
Ok now that i’m a bit more awake.
Here’s my two cents. Washing hash, especially without a machine (which you don’t explicitly need for quality) is not an SOP issue, it’s a work ethic issue. The theory behind ice hash is very simple (brr brr, sugar break off of nug, heat make angry and sticky) - the real challenge is putting it into action and having all of your ducks in a row and the process so familiar with yourself that even when you run into issues you’re already prepped with what you need for whatever issues you may face so you can tamp them out in seconds before they become bigger issues in 5 minutes when your 1 problem turns into 3 which turns into 10.

You crazy kids today and your quality hash. I never knew there was such a thing. It was always a way to get something out of suspicious garbage. I used only the top and bottom bags out of the set and beat the hell out of everything with a drill and a paint mixer bit. That’s the way it was, and we liked it.

I have a small home grow and wash everything I grow.
I have been washing a lot of flowers recently and can tell you a few tips that I think have made my process a lot easier.
I did not invent any of this tech, and cant remember who to credit.
Material - somewhat dry, but still fresh, I hang my trees for a day or two , then hand trim into freezer bags, into a freezer.
I wait for a cold night to get my room temp as low as possible. In winter I circulate outside air and shoot for 40 deg, anything below 70 is workable but not ideal.
initial soak of 45-1 hour in ice bath.
first pull (i usually do 2-3) I will carefully churn my bucket, this first pull i am as careful as possible with the churning, least violent, but you want to give a good spin, get the ice and water moving across the material.
have a good source of cold water with a sprayer head attached. I like to use a hose, my ground water is very cold.
Biggest Tip that I have picked up recently: For collection from bags, I fill up a bowl of ice water (I usually have a series of bowls for each micron - all sitting in ice) and you can grab your material in the bags, flip the bag inside out - and then dump/wash the material all into the ice bowl. It enables extremely fast collection - this can be extremely helpful for conditions where your room isn’t as cold as you want, as well as just being fast and easy. to then recollect your hash, you put a 25 micron cloth in a strainer and dump all the water hash into it - straining out all the water, and leaving you with an easy way to transfer to a freeze dryer.
