The jig is the only bottleneck as it takes a little too long to load and will leave one man standing idle. We’ve ordered a second 400 hole jig to fix that though.
I second that. For the cost those little guys rock. The unit Ive got has filled over 10k 30ml bottles. We also have an inline filling systems piston filler (picture) sitting in the cabinet I may tool around with if we start doing creams.
Or potentially for trade if @Siosis is interested…
It will fill creams and liquids. It came with a bottling facility the company I work for acquired but since we had the smaller unit and it allows different programs to be stored (we do 15, 30, and 60ml bottles) we just swapped it in. This unit has just been sitting on a shelf since we moved in.
We use a similar filling solution for our topical creams and honey, the only issue we found is when filling creams air bubbles can cause inconsistent volumes. To fix this we vac the cream before putting into the hopper.
Its entirely pneumatic with electric controls, the setting is done with the big threaded rod that adjusts the stop point of the piston and then on the output there is a pneumatic end that opens when the piston is moving forward and closes when it draws back.
