Looking for a D9 SOP

Running isomerization reactions in R134a? I’m intrigued. Obviously you don’t have to give up secrets, but it works well you find?

Agree on you on this part. 88-91 I do get on my HPLC after 15mins of reaction.
HPLC Confirmed.
Then you bleed D9 slowly at every stage apart from filtration where you actually gain pecent.

Well no works yes
Since alcl3 attacks many solvents
Alkanes,ethyl acetate,mtbe. Etc
Since I am doing some r and d on R134a I tought what the heck try it
But it has no advantage

Show the data. Would love to see it.

I do the reaction in DCM then I quench with dry isopropanol + another chemical. Then I recover DCM and do all of my subsequent washes in heptane. Filter through two medias and then dry and recover the heptane. Then distill like we all do.

Sadly a LOT don t do is what’s the market is about now even material imported from the USA

wait…you can import thc from the US?

why am I slaving away in this lab then? is it legal?

I can :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:. It s called smuggeling :joy:
It’s my profesional for 28 years

Importing thc is illegal in all European countries unless you have a opium license
NOW importing thc-a with no more than 0.2% is legal ( not listed in Denmark)
Importing thc-a in tjechie with thc at no more than 1% is legal ( not listed)
Both routes are beeing flooded as we speak

Argggg @eyeworm @CosmicBandit
Any of you have the law that Germany wants to implement on the 20Th I lost my document treu signal erasing mode

@CosmicBandit can you upload the file I send you from the new German nps law please

@eyeworm when looking in hign sight where the addition of -a was / is considered an other molecule
Did the new law cover the carboxilation of hhc hhc-p thc-p etc
Forgot to check it ik get the office to look at it as well

I ask myself the same question for the past 15 years. The answer is: Because its fun and no.

Also, they already imported Cannabis genetics from Canada to Germany. https://www.nasdaq.com/articles/this-canadian-nursery-is-exporting-new-cannabis-strains-to-german-cannabis-producer

I hope that naturally extracted media begins to win market share over the conversions in Europe. I see the effort that you @EagleChem and @Roguelab put into your R&D and product development. I’ve also seen countless bad players, who barely have an understanding of the dangerous chemicals they work with. Moreover, a lot of those bad players leave those dangerous chemicals in their final products due to (I hope) ignorance.

It s not ignorance it s greed 100%
When you distill and all go s to D8
And you yust stop distilling to keep it in 9 you are not ignorant !!

I’m not worried about a little extra 9 in my 8. I’m worried about metals, solvents, and reagents.

That’s what’s in it I large amounts
Aluminium and a lot if lucky aluminiumhydroxide Wich as a compound is very stable and in edibles should not be a problem since it s a stomach acidity neutralizer (gaviscon)
For vapeing I hope that the temps used should not be to bad either
But yeah it s supposed to be clean period
