Extracted some trim- did crc- and then poured into a Pyrex. Wasn’t sure if I was going to make it into batter or what.
Left it in the vac oven not under vacuum at 85 degrees F for 5 days and saw diamonds were growing. Should I cap the dish and leave it to grow?
I also did a live resin run with no CRC and poured right into jars and capped. Have burped them along the way. Put it in vac oven not under vacuum at 85 degrees F as well. Not seeing much happen at all and it’s been 5 days. Suggestions?
Those photos are of the trim run
so…
if the uncovered pyrex is doing what you want, and the capped jars are not, why would you try and emulate “capped” on the pyrex?
given that CRC has a reputation for making crystallization easier/faster, your jars are not expected to crash as fast, but the process (unsaturated=>saturatuted=>supersaturated=>crystallization) is the same.
why might the pyrex be further along? (other than CRC)
I’ve moved your post into the THCa Crystallization section. maybe check out some of the other threads in there while waiting for things to happen…

thanks for the response. I guess I just thought if I covered the pyrex it would speed up what was already happening possibly but I see what you’re saying.
Not really sure why the pyrex is further along…fresher material maybe? The live resin bud was frozen for months.
unsaturated=>saturatuted=>supersaturated=>crystallization
requires evaporation…
needs to be slow…but without it nothing happens.
