I have been receiving live resin and sometimes it come more gold and thick and sometimes it’s coming much darker and more thin I’ll post video, but he’s telling me that it’s just made a different way and the darker one has more terps but I’m coming here find out if I’m being lied to or what cause to me seems more gold honey like smells better and looks better

Even with moving pictures we have zero way of knowing what you’re receiving.
Actual analytics are the best way to know what you’re up against. “More terps”? Prove it…
Viscosity? Might be terps, might be thc to thca ratio.
Color? Might be too hot on decarb, or poor job on freezing input. Or the quality of the distillate being used…
Yeah, odds are you’re being lied to, and neither are actually “live resin”.
Ask “how are they being made differently?”
Ask to see COA. Pay for one yourself.
Or ask to see it being made…

Send it off to a respected lab for a coa. This as @cyclopath suggested, is THE only way to start to understand what you are working with.
A good lab will be able to also analyze terpene concentration as well as the most important imo is residual solvents and heavy metals.
Potency doesnt matter if its unsafe to injest.
