it mostly seems to be the midsize/larger growers keeping them going

depends on your definition of dominating and profitable.

Hawthorne, Bayer, Monsanto that’s my definition. Don’t like it. But it’s like a rock and a hard place for those who want to compete. Even mom and pops have to carry gavita most the time if they like it or not. Hydrofarm and sunsystems. Is lux or jungle boys stuff any better? I bet profit is close to what farmers are getting these days. Pennies on the dollar. Huge sales/ yields are almost necessary to make a living. This goes with almost every aspect of any business model right now.

I’m 5 mins from Grower’s House so if I need something in a hurry that any of the 10 other nursery stores in the area don’t carry, I can get it there. They’re not going anywhere, but I think they would take a buyout from GrowGen.

I’ve noticed that since adult use came about here in AZ (and a lot of the country) and we gained our right to grow personal meds, more and more grow supplies are popping up in regular places. I can go to any big box or garden store and be able to pick up tents, lights, canna-specific nutrients and soil mixes, pH meters, inline fans, dehumidifiers, trellis netting, and pretty much any essential grow supply you could want or need. Amazon has the rest. My first ever item ordered from Amazon so many years ago was growing related, and it still is one of my go-to’s.

I’ve been selling seeds for a little over a year now. Prices drop all the time, but I can still scrape by as a small time player. Other than autoflower seeds, almost all my sales go to illegal states. The southeastern US is the spot right now to sell seeds, especially retail. I have a few head shops selling my packs now, and I hope to gradually creep my way south.

ā€œThe Emergency Suspension was based on the lab’s failure to meet accreditation requirements such as not having a lab director on staff, scales that were not calibrated true and issuing incorrect test results to licensees and the public. True Northwest’s certification is suspended for 180 days, during which time the Board will seek revocation of their certificatesā€

No lab manager on site. It sounds like people are just printing reports

$15/search to look at Nebraska court records(even with 0 resutls), that’s by far the worst I’ve seen yet

I’d like to see the filings

Among the targets of Hilgers’ suits are 50 Shades of Green and The Cannabis Factory, both Omaha-based companies that operate dispensaries across the state — including in Lincoln — that sell CBD and Delta-8 products.

An attorney for 50 Shades of Green wasn’t immediately able to comment on the state’s lawsuit Wednesday. Tom Whitmore, an Omaha-based lawyer who is listed as The Cannabis Factory’s registered agent in state business records, did not return messages seeking comment.

Hilgers’ office also filed complaints against Ms. Vape Shop in Saline County, Greenhouse Grandma in Dawes County, High Flow Cannabis in Hall County, First Stop Vape Shop in Keith County, A Botanical Dream in Lincoln County, Kynd Co. Vape and Smoke in Madison County, Chasing Clouds Vape Collective in Platte County and Zy Glam in Scotts Bluff County.

In a 37-page complaint filed in Lancaster County against The Cannabis Factory, Hilgers accused the retailer of violating the state’s consumer protection laws by seeking to ā€œentice and ultimately ensnare Nebraska’s most vulnerable consumers: teenagers and children.ā€

Data from the FDA indicates that dozens of fatal overdoses
and poisonings have been attributed directly to the consumption of
products containing delta-8, a common form of synthetically produced
THC

that’s a straight up lie

a. Cannabis Factory Forbidden Punch, a candy product
labeled as containing 420 mg of THCA and THC-P which,
in addition to not containing THCA or THC-P, contains
instead a little over 100 mg of combined Δ9-THC, Δ8-THC,
and exo-THC.
b. Cannabis Factory Krispy Treat Fruity Pebbles, an
edible product labeled as containing Δ8-THC which, in
addition to containing Δ8-THC, also contains Δ9-THC and
exo-THC.
c. Cannabis Factory Purple Berry, a candy product
labeled as containing THC-H and THC-JD which, in
addition to not containing THC-H or THC-JD, contains
instead Δ9-THC, Δ8-THC, and exo-THC.
d. Cannabis Factory Formula 402, a drink product
labeled as containing Δ9-THC which, in addition to
containing trace amounts on Δ9-THC, also contains trace
amounts of Δ8-THC.
e. Cannabis Factory Rainbow Belt, a candy product
labeled as containing Δ9-THC, Δ11-THC, and THC-P
which, in addition to containing Δ9-THC and not Δ11-
THC or THC-P, also contains Δ8-THC and exo-THC.
f. Cannabis Factory Platinum OG, a distillate product
labeled as containing THC-P which, in addition to not
containing THC-P, contains instead Δ9-THC, THCV, Δ8-
THC, and exo-THC.
g. Cannabis Factory THC-A Dab, a distillate product
labeled as containing 99% concentration of THCA in 1 g
which, in addition to containing only about 980 mg of
THCA, also contains about 10 mg of Δ9-THC.

this is expected though, I’m curious what lab they used

The FDA isn’t lying.

ā€œTanner Clements’ death was ruled accidental and the cause of death was delta-8-tetrahydrocannabinol toxicity, according to Office of the Chief Medical Examiner Central District Administrator LaKeshia Johnson.ā€ Article Source: https://beta.ctvnews.ca/national/world/2022/10/21/1_6099904.html

This death is even noted on the PSA on D8 the FDA released.

D8 killed someone and has made thousands and thousands of people sick and the numbers are rising daily.

I’d still argue contaminates/by-products are the real killer.

Who knows.

Maybe D8 actually is garbage, might be a reason the plant doesn’t produce an abundance of it.

All we do know is a child consumed D8 gummies and died so that’s pretty cool right?
