Let's see your set up!

Are you passive? Do you recover into your liquid port?
I recover through dip tube and it fricking scared the shit out of me wheni let 20psi build on my pot, and my tank at full vac in slurry, buried

it puts the solvent in its tank:joy::rofl:

Yeah I’m passive. I have dual 1/2” recovery lines running into the vapor ports. I let my collection pot build to 60 psi and let err rip

That being said, I have the parts to set up a third recovery line that re uses the injection coil, line and dip tube. But I haven’t done it yet. Probably not going to. I’m pretty happy with my recovery rates as is

Thats right, i remember now,
I’m getting a lb/min, optimal, single recovery, n- bute,
Makes sense

Do you run those off the same sieve?

Not using sieves. Haven’t had any moisture problems etc. But if/when I do run them each line will have it’s own 3x12. I have them built and even have there spot on the wall ready.

i know you are new to nitro assist from your other thread. you are going to want a bigger tank that’s going to be a pain you will need to swap it daily i bet at that size.

Yes sir you are on point. Going to upgrade it this week coming. Def. Way too small. It would only push through that beast a time or two. Lol have unicorn theory with me with a big n2 tank.

Is this like straight up progression started with the smaller one progressed and larger 1 and eventually thing looks like a 12" pot and the info what’s up they’re all very pretty

@Killa12345 thanks for getting me a system to build on quickly. Going to placing a large order with you so we can get it dialed in.

Can you guys please help me with how to properly tighten this inline sight glass? Is there a torque rating for these fasteners, and the glass?

Also I need to replace the gaskets, and not certain I understand the correct ones. Can anyone recommend a source and the best material choice? Or a good thread? My setup is passive and I need gaskets good for dry-ice/denatured slurry, 2" triclamp.

Leading up to my last question, maybe the first really. Is this type of sight glass (with correct gasket material) safe to submerge at dry ice slurry temps? I’m rebuilding a small 1lb-ish extractor, and adding gauges among other new parts. I haven’t figured out the pressures yet, but I’ll probably use canned/blended gas with a little propane (like whipit 5x or premium, cleaned/distilled first of course). Or if pressure is an issue I can boil off the propane and just use the remaining N and iso butane.

Thanks In advance.

those arent meant at all for hydrocarbons. Those were made for not made for extractors. They make a short sight glass with 1/2" thick borosilicate which is barely enough for hydrocarbon extraction. looks like your missing the gaskets in the picture above

The glass is 10mm, are the short ones thicker? Can I replace the glass and shorten the rods, or should I toss it and just upgrade? The extractor has been run blind in the past, I never trusted this part.

Check your dm, but, I’d just spend the 50 bucks for a new short one if I wanted a new shorter glass.

I have one like yours and just recently purchased a shorty.
