Nice! What kind of recovery rates are you getting?
Closed loop*
haha why’s that? It looks cool
Sorry for my English, it’s not the best. I am from Latin American Chile. I would like to add a crc but I don’t understand its use yet.
Long ago and far away.
This passed for state mandated testing in OR for just a bit.
I bailed when it became obvious that “pesticide” testing meant we couldn’t see one particular pesticide…
Then read up on indofab crc thread
Color remediation. You use filter powders to selectively remove compounds that give your oil its dark color. It produces a much lighter/clearer oil.
@GreenMachineLabs has a great blog about it here.

New 5lb extractor on its way to the lab! Had to stop by the local cop shop with our baby in tow, just to let it set in that this is real life and we’re legal!!
I really appreciate the knowledge you drop here!
What Does/is the jacketed hemi reducer do/for?
I love those hardlines and compression fittings.
Jacketed hemi base for recovery
Edit.
Makes sense now!
Congrats! much better than picking your extractor up FROM the cop shop LOL!!
Is this thing finished?
The wiper cage is as of yet unfinished, I used it as a solvent evaporator for a bit by adding an atomizer nozzle and then tore it apart to build a mixer settler for continuous LLE which was arguably a lot more useful in the end.
I won a F42k instagram giveaway that included a 5L short path head so I bought the rest of the kit and just started distilling that way.
2lbs per minute
About halfway through
I just upgraded to 1/2" recovery, 3/8 vslve though
It screams like yours, ha,
@Hansel are you full open? My tank sounds like a tractor or Harley from the vapor coming in
I don’t run my tank empty
@Unicorn_Theory1 Yeah that’s all the way open. It makes some noise and I can hear the liquid pissing in. My tank is as empty as it can get, but there is always a few lbs that the dipstick doesn’t reach.
