Have you heard that Chinese officials announced on January 9, 2026, that the VAT export tax rebate for e-cigarette products will be fully eliminated by April 1, 2026? This policy may lead to a combined cost increase of approximately 20–25% for vape hardware. Have you received price increase notices from your suppliers?
Substantive post instead of directly advertising hardware. ![]()

They are getting smarter
Though some people here could benefit from just seeing what hardware they have for sale as long as it’s actually something new, a model that improves on something that has been advertised here before or a whole new type of device.
Copy-pasting the same comment everywhere while hiding your public profile isn’t strategy — it’s just noise with less accountability. Repetition doesn’t equal insight, and anonymity doesn’t add credibility. If the goal here is real discussion, then substance matters more than visibility.

Welp that’s what I get for giving you credit for trying. I even defended the Chinee when they tried selling a fent press here that might actually have viable applications in cannabis.
What AI/translation service did you use to post that generated reply twice in a row?
Edit:
Found it
I posted twice because I’m unfamiliar with how things work here. And all I felt throughout the entire process was your sarcasm. The news content I posted shouldn’t have harmed you in any way, right?
Lost in translation
If you do have any vape hardware for sale if you post the prices publicly it will save you a lot of time trying to engage in the extra dialogue. Many hardware vendors don’t post prices, I think because many Asian hardware vendors are actually selling the same hardware and it would ruin the sales competition among reps selling similar hardware under different brand names and would be undercut by other reps on this platform trying to get the most sales for their manufacturers that they sell for.
If you do have a unique hardware that has new features that haven’t been advertised before it would be more welcomed and you may get more engagement if you post the prices publicly because some (not all) customers won’t spend the time to DM and ask for a quote when they can find publicly priced vape hardware elsewhere.
If this post is really about tariffs and not a form of guerilla marketing so that you are not treated like a spammer sales rep, obviously tariffs are going to effect someone’s price on one end of the transaction but probably not both ends as one side has more leverage. It may just lead to hardware vendors trying to find ways to get the hardware here available domestically first for customers to source domestically, even with tariffs there is enough hardware out there where customers are probably not going to be willing to pay more and will stick with companies that land the hardware domestically whichever companies can figure out how to do that sustainably there seems to be some slight of hand that can be done by the international shipper and less so the customer.
