L2L networking and best practices

Hey everyone!

We’re finally just a couple weeks out from being operational with a type 7 Volatile solvent extraction lab in San Diego. We’ve learned a bunch from the community and much has been applied during our 2 years of licensure processing.

Wanted to create a spot where those involved in the legal market can share best practices related to compliance, market insights, management etc. and potentially create a few groups where we can leverage our buying power on commodities we regularly use.

Could a few of us who buy solvents, packaging materials, absorbent powders etc put an LLC or agreement together that would allow us all to order on the same account and build discounts on frequency or bulk?

Some things we learned-
Be mindful when creating LLCs and thinking through company names if you intend multiple uses in one spot. When getting your CEQA (California) add those company names and activities to be included in the report. For example don’t forget about the distribution license and activities when you’re getting the CEQA for your grow/manufacturing etc.

Always always get multiple quotes, expect your budget to be doubled or more, and it will likely take at least twice as long as you think are told or hope.

Hope to connect with those already making waves in the industry, and help those that are considering getting involved into the regulated market, or are in process.
