Researching it some more, it sounds like folks are having success with ultrasound assisted ethanol extractions. That would be much more scaleable than soxhlet extractions. Also rehydrating the leaves and freezing to lyse the cells before extraction, which is common practice in other alkaloid extractions.

ive tried refluxing it with ethanol for a few hours, idk particularly how successful i was as far as efficiency but it did extract

Diamonds crystals no way to check purity but should be around 70%
Freeze extract with hexane
Then do a acid /base on the biomass
Then cleanup with LLE water tolueen
Then some powders
Then acetone wash
Crystelize methanol
Recristelize
Pretty clean

Do you treat the biomass with a base before the hexane extraction?
Also, “Then some powders”? Are you using adsorbants as well? When I tried to use AC on another alkaloid extraction, it robbed my yields pretty dramatically.
Did you lyse the cells first? I keep seeing that come up pretty consistently when reading about efficient alkaloid extractions.

No i extract all fats and waxes first

The losses are big but i got 50 kg to play so thats what i do 
The LLE takes 50% in one shot
Yes no A-C bentonite and florisil(Magsil) want to get me some pvpp or whatever the wine industry uses to clean
And some malaic acid when crystelizing like with acid and K

Yea, as long as there’s water in the biomass that should be plenty for lysing the cells. I have about a kilo to play with, I’m going to have to try this out. I’m really intrigued by the crystallization of the alkaloids, gonna have to get some maleic acid.
Someone else mentioned using propane and having great results a few weeks ago. I think you’d have to treat the biomass with a base first since the alkaloids are in their salt form in the plant, but that would probably be very efficient.

12 euros per kilo??? That is WAY cheap! Lowest I’ve been able to find is $20/k and that’s if we ordered 1 ton.

So base the biomass then in a polar solvent then dry it out then blast with propane ?

That’s what I’m thinking. I mean, for coca extractions they just let macerated wet leaves sit covered with lime for a few days before they extract with a non-polar solvent. I’m just wondering how you would go about rehydrating the powder to basify everything without making a soupy mess…

Put biomass in a blender and add NAOH Pearls and blend to king dom come🤣
Maybe add some methanol then vacuum dry in oven then blast
