Looks like there’s a big push to get rid of 7oh and avoid being like the intoxicating hemp industry this year

Hahahahaha holy shit they called it perks!?!?!?!?!?! Is ‘PURE UNCUT HEROIN’ the next branding move?
Roxy and opia are other brands I’ve seen, there’s even a group that took k2 back as a brand for their gas station dope
Here’s some kratom news
@MillerliteRN Will randomly get angry and send you pictures of your family he pulled off of your facebook with no text in it in the middle of the night while wasted.
Just wanted to put this in an unlocked thread so everyone can see how people operate on this site.
sacklers’ gotta sack
Wonder if Texas is next on that list!
Edit: this has already been posted above.
Colorado bans 7oh
I saw a screenshot of a warning letter too, nothing seems to be on the fda site yet though
Ive actually wondered if whoever is making these is actually trying to get 7ohm (and extracts in general) banned.
I saw an analysis from a few of the early brands, a lot of them are obviously from one place. It is strange the chemist is good enough to purify mit completely but not good enough to clean out the lead afterwards Lead would indicate they’re using the lead acetate route. You’d need a pretty decent lab to use that route at scale or you’d be replacing your chemists pretty frequently.
Why would the person profiting from 7ohm also want it banned? Right now it’s not worth the average punter buying direct from indo/Thailand because shipping is so high. It’s cheaper to buy from one of the big boys bringing it in by sea freight. Remove the cost of freight and punters will bring in small amounts from Thailand and threaten the big boys bottom line.
It could also be someone buying in pure mit and converting it with lead acetate, not realising the damage they’re doing to themselves.
It’s definitely strange that the producer is distancing themselves from the end product though. Lots are the same, why not take all the profit for yourself?
In the US, 7 Up merged with Dr Pepper in 1988 to form Dr Pepper/Seven Up; Cadbury Schweppes bought the combined company in 1995. The Dr Pepper Snapple Group was spun off from Cadbury Schweppes in 2008; it merged with Keurig Green Mountain in 2018 to form Keurig Dr Pepper.
All this Kratom and cannabis rebranding and relabeling reminds of the soda / cola industry.
They all change hands as the law of the land figures itself out and crashes their markets. Researching the soda industry I find a lot of correlation.
