No, it’s not. Now, if you changed that to “if the only goal is blocking SOME ads…” then you would have a point. But even then, Firefox Focus over Brave on mobile for simple ad blocking any day of the week and twice on Sunday.
I’m not shitting on every option, but I’m sure your well known animus towards me is biasing your post. People who care about learning appreciate learning when they’re wrong. And people with giant egos and full cups are the opposite, they get upset when they learn they’re wrong. Lastly, I’m not deciding anything. I simply do my due diligence and trust those much smarter about these topics than myself.

I hate all the google news and bing interests feeds whatever the fuck you call it. I had to update to windows 10 the other day after vehemently avoiding it for years. Ive gorten by using widnows 8 forever, until this piece of software I needed required windows 10. So far I hate windows 10. I removed all the malware that comes preinstalled with but can’t remove bing/edge browser or keep its update driver off my computer. It keeps magically reappearing. I tried entering command prompts and no dice.
Anyways thats my rant about bullshit operating systems…wish I knew Linux or didnt hate apple

I’m on Windows 10 delaying 11… But for my gaming desires I’m going to have it all going. Then just setup a new Ubuntu rig or see what latest Linux builds are out.
I hate apple, but Linux I can dig. I like seeing the fruits of the labor in Linux work.
Two last tips for everyone:

Rooted or unrooted, use a DNS filter in your phone! I like RethinkDNS, but there are other options about there. Take control of your phone.

Don’t use your ISP’s DNS or Cloudflare DNS, Google DNS, etc. Mullvad secure DNS (DoH and DoT) has been independently security audited (as has the Mullvad VPN), and they offer two DNS options: With or without ad and tracker blocking. It’s free for everyone. You can set a system wide DNS filter on mobile (using RethinkDNS) or computer (using the system’s DNS settings). Or, you can use secure DNS in the browser only. Use DoT (DNS over TLS) rather than DoH (DNS over HTTPS) for greater security.

Surprised anyone would trust anything @moveweight says at this point though. He’s proven himself over and over as some one who likes to interject themselves into things they don’t know anything about, and further more he’s liable to nuke shit and shift blame.

LOL, very true, but also it’s the system I use for work because applications I need aren’t available on *nix or Mac systems. I really want to try Qubes (the most secure OS ever created) but I don’t have the time. When I need real anonymity I spin up Tails or Whonix, both of which can run on a Windows box without using the Windows OS.
But for you gripes, here’s your answer:

Another tip: Use Start10 (replaces the crappy Windows 10 start menu with the classic and much better Windows 7 start menu)
