Not trying to get spoon fed…I’ve searched all around and can’t find anything and I know I’ve seen it on here before. But I’m running a bunch of keif tomorrow and need to figure it out. I’ve actually never run keif before more than like 50g so wanna double check. I have 2000g of keif. How much trim should I mix that with? Or how many 4x48 columns? I’m planning on running one tester then doing the rest all crc since I’ve heard keif comes out dark
I have ran a little more than a kg in my 1# rig without a problem.
What are you aiming to make, crude, shatter ?
You can add a layer every 2 cups of kief of ss scrubies that way prevents clogging

Will probably do a mix of shatter and sauce.
The trim is super terpy and fresh. But I’ve always heard kief comes out dark. So that’s why I plan on doing some light cr on it. The trim by itself comes out piss gold so haven’t needed cr on it yet

By weight or volume ?
we haven’t had it come out any darker so far

One time I ran about 6 units of keef mixed into 24units of trim and it ran just fine.

Depends on the kief, light pretty kief turn out pretty., green kief or trimmy kief turns out darker.

really depends on how it was obtained and stored.
fresh ripe trichomes contain everything you’re after, and almost nothing you don’t want.
leaf that has been ground to the size of kief contains nothing you want, and will only add unwanted color, sugars, and fats.
seems like those you’ve heard from have be extracting “kief” from machine trim.
