Sorry for the low-res, shot this on the move at MJBiz last month. First ‘trial’ run of automated kief coating fed inline from a 4-up. Soothing and hypnotic video for anyone under pressure to increase production for kief coated pre-rolls.
Timeline and natural language description of video contents:
0:00 - 0:09 - The Accelerant PRO4 pre-roll automation system is inline and feeding 4 units at a time into the CoatPRO kief coating system
0:15 - 0:23 - 4 units are retrieved after the adhesive application
0:24 - 0:33 - Units are rotated in the kief coater per customized recipe (duration, speed, depth configurable)
0:40 - End - Units are loaded into fully automated curing trays
Derp, apparently you can toggle the settings in the player to get the higher rise. Literally yelling at the wall about how an expensive phone can take such shit video haha
I am eager to hear any experience on methods and manual production costs. I am finding small automated runs (~50-60k at b/t 14 and 16 cents per kief-coated pre-roll. Manual def isn’t scalable if the sku is a success, but for experimenting with the product the high manual costs might be just a fact for a proof of concept and test of demand
