Have not but the potential is there, however I feel there are many factors that are going to cause potential issues.
I have developed my own method with heptane that can make the ultra-pure xtals on the first crash but takes much longer than just doing a re-x of a first pass off-white run.
I’m curious what you mean by crash? Are you taking your solvent and rotovaping it until it’s coming out of solution and then freezing or full solvent volume freezing?
Just the first collection of xtals… I tend to call it crashing in general whenever the crystals start forming rapidly. Might not be the best term.

Make thick slurry of powdered root bark and water. The higher the concentration of DMT the more you extract. Adding in lots of water not so good.
Surface area between slurry and solvent is important. More surface area the better. Giant pyrex dish works well. I would shoot for 1/2-3/4" of slurry and 1/4"-1/2" of solvent on top.
Adding lye generates heat which you can use to your advantage. Hot solvent works better than cold. Keep mixture as hot as possible while extracting.
This is also how you create a big fireball so take many safety precautions starting with doing it outdoors. It’s caustic, it’s flammable, there are probably a lot of things that can go wrong.

Edit: used cybs max ion tek with only 1 freeze thaw instead of 3. Used a bit more water in the base stage since I used a 2L vessel.
I literally took all the info about crystallizing THCa on here and applied it to this. This was my biggest growth. Rex’d once, then seeded into concentrated ‘mother liquid’ once. Probably could have gone bigger but this was an experiment and kind of got bored.

good advice. I would also add that its wise to be a bit cautious of working with too hot of solvent as it can cause you to pull a significant amount more fats… especially if you are using acacia over a good mhrb. i personally dont mind having more of a jimjam extract but its not the best for many applications(such as carts)

I mean i could teach you much faster ways using the same tek also using acacia id defat it beforen going basic.
Always get powdered… you’ll know if it’s real inner root bark and not outter and inner root bark if yields are 2-3% 1% its both not just inner.
Also processing a KG of powdered mud is very hard to get rhe liduid out…i could use some lab glass and a process i made upscaling or large centrifuge to get the acid wash outta the fine mudd
But can it be done this way yes…i broke my main equipment mid run and used this route was pain in the ass lower yields but it worked
I use acacia or mimosa and just use the full spectrum extract crystallize whatll crystallize what want scrap up portiong a lil puddy aftwr dried w yellow crystals when done

You defat by just running it over a filter or is it more complicated than that? (feel free to tell me to figure it out myself if this is info that you normally charge for)
thanks for this, because I almost bought shredded yesterday. For the exact reason you mentioned. I figured it would turn into a slurry almost and be a bitch to get the liquid out. I don’t have a fuge for this to separate the liquid from the mud. Should I still go powdered?
They make 5gal bucket insert strainers softener microns. Pass through ome then the other down till your at the lowest micron it’ll seperate w gravity and surface area
