12 cfm will be more than enough to get some good vac depth on a oven of chamber, can’t wait to see y’all setup! Remember don’t skip a step in your setup & always keep your parameters to a good liking, never get to eager!

Yes, this vacuum pump should be the shit, i read reviews tat it pulls 7 micron at a certain given time, with the lid on or something??? Anyway thanks man.
I am elated and even tho i have seen people on YT doing it with the regular ice-maker ice and single pin clamps, i am waiting until my high pressure clamps arrive and will be using pure r600a which i can get easily at an A/C store. They also sell the r290 in there, so in the absence of r600, i can’t do the 40-40-20 i wanted to will be doing 70-30.

My intention is to filter a little bit of the impurities by attaching the shown 6" column with the duda sheets rolled up like a sleeve, 1 micron. And then the filter plate with the filter circles in it. I am not sure where to place the SS filter gasket tho. And i wanted to attach these two under my 12" dewax spool…
The 6" column came with the rig, but i had bought an extra 12" dewax so… i only need to get the sheets, ss gasket and filter circles.
Would this be a waste of time and money? Thanks also to @WhereAreTheStones for telling me about the Duda Sheets.

Are you sure the r600a will not have any odorant in it?
I’ve looked into this before, and it seemed that there was odorant added to it.
Lemme find the thread, but I strongly suggest you do some more research on your solvent of choice

They assured me it doesn’t contain any ethyl-mercaptane in it…
I dunno i will ask and tripe check before i pay for it.
It would be 100% r600a for now…
I’d avoid it if I were you, you’re gonna do what you’re gonna do, but after that thread, I said fuck it and went another route.
My only other option for now is Newport canned gas…

I gotta have a permit, wanted to talk to the super market or someone to bring it for mw yeah.
Gonna distill the newport real good with the dry ice and all, to make it the cleanest possible. But after that my options are limited down here in Costa Rica.

How big of a system are you building?
Honestly, the newport will work just fine as long as you distill it, which you are planning on doing.

It’s a 45g rig, but it can be modified to be 90, or 120~135g.
Yeah, you’re gonna be fine with the newport for now. A little gas will last you a decent amount of time.
Can you buy newport with no license?
Edit: I’m speaking from experience, my rig was that size for a long time.

Yes Amazon sells it. But they seize it once it enters the country. I made inquiries.
I would love to, maybe I’ll get a permit and import the whip it and from BVV , setup a little extraction online store… That way I give access, that I didn’t have to people down here.
