It's Willbillytek. Duh

when its as big as dab tabs ill give it another look

right now the consumer places it next to snortable thca

co crystallization of terpenes seems very awesome

Gross, but I see you’re point. Unfortunately, It takes a long time to educate the consumer and the road to informing them is sabotaged along the way

And CoCrystals are super cool

Sounds like you have trouble explaining it yourself.

That sounds a lot like the girls I met in college who charged their crystals in the moonlight.

Sounds like you’re having trouble understanding

Are you referring to a change in the ionic charge of the crystal @TurahTurah

Man you guys all suckin on Santa’s D or something? What the hell does christmas even taste like lmao.

Has anyone tried recrystallization using EM radiation? We already know, for example that Ultra Violet radiation can convert THC-A into CBN-A, I wonder if an infrared diode over a recystalization of cannabinoids in unsaturated hydrocarbon could change the density of the lattice.

Did ya ever get any crystallization in those terps?

Anyone ever investigate what makes up the color that we perceive? We don’t see what color things really are, we see the color that’s not absorbed, reflected. People tend to think of white as the absence of color when in fact it is all the colors. Color as we know it, is due to double bonds called conjugated pi bonds. White would contain a set for every color on the color wheel. As you scrub or break these bonds color will start to show. Pink being the first then blue. If you’ve ever bleached a group of white clothes and had some come out pink when there wasn’t any red in them at all.

I’m honestly more interested in the whole power over crystallization thing. That and increased bioavailability because of the process.

What I think doesn’t matter much though honestly

The color has always been a gimmick. But I appreciate the man, and his process. He’s not a liar…

My understanding was @TheWillBilly didnt share this tek with fwaygo but now they are producing blue diamonds…

It seem interesting they are asking if they should make it light or dark blue, I hope they arent using some type of additive.

What do you guys think?

Also this seems alarming too…. From jay’s story…

It’s pretty easy to pass metrc testing since they don’t really test for things that could be used to make products blue.

oh great this again

That Instagram down t look like the polymorf
And doubt that one can play with bleu intensity by polymorphism

what were the coas? I’ve heard 99.99 thca but by definition a co-crystalization would lower diamond purity.

The image above is yellow diamonds but we pay them no mind?

going to throw a guess out there. Its probably something relatively simple but equipment specific, but chocced up to be all fancy because of wbt’s background. wbt didnt start playing with diamonds all that long ago, 2019 maybe? anyways, he got good at growing rocks large fast, anyone with a little bit of science background can figure out supersaturation, nucleation, cold crashing, and general growing of rocks, even someone with a confectionary background understands this.

the above stones are yellow. why? the mother liquor / terps it was grown in was fire lol

wbt has posted pics primarily of 2 colors pink and his more famous blue. The pink is definitely a terp color that can be expressed via chromatography. I am sure the blue is as well. from there I would assume you grow your rocks fast so that they “co-crystalize” which I think is just trapping the colored sauce.

You would even be able to do

like how you can get light or deep gold diamonds

if this is the method, which I would bet money it is. someone with a pharma background would go straight to chroma columns for purifying. wbt had a “huh thats funny” moment and decided to proceed.

Doing it via chromatography means that you would be able to use butane or CO2(allowing for wbt claims of the process being able to be done solventlessly as well)

can we kill this thread now?

Hey @TheWillBilly you gonna sue Jay for running these or nah?

Probably not, lol. Looks like those guys just added food coloring for sure…

Or just a raw pigment…
