It washes the cannabis and then it washes the cannabis some more

i feel you, we picked AODDs 20gpm above what was recommended to us for that reason. just impressed at a spec of 264gpm is all. totally appreciate the logic of oversizing and dialing down, just way outside what i could afford

i have, and you’re right–my undercaffeinated brain interpreted HX to mean a type of pump, which led me to assume we were talking about something like these. def see what he meant now, i digress, with appropriate feelings of silliness.
we have some heat exchange employed in our system to chill our solution further when we need to. though I’d love to add additional parts and equipment to assist with that, am in the position of making it work with what we have, for multiple reasons

That IS a super interesting pump design. Some of the new axial pump designs that are coming out have some very impressive features.

yeah no. trying to keep systems pressures down below 20PSI when spec’ing spray/flow/pump interactions.

which reminds me I’m gonna have to cut the (big) pumps on high pressure too!!

true dat.

meeting with my automation guy today to go over what we got and how we gonna get where we wanna be with as few “more parts” as we can manage. I think I can get there with 4 analog inputs. so long as I can just throw the vibration sensor on the e-stop/fault loop

although I might spring for 8 inputs and save the 4’s to retrofit basic controls on the smaller machines once we get the bigger ones all auto-magic’ed out.

man talk about ‘things i would do if i had access to more capital #1 out of 1,003’

someday… [/looks wistfully into the distance]

You should have thought about that before you decided to not have rich parents

We have our system fully automated. We can sell automation packages pretty affordably now that most of the relevant code is written. Ours tracks data across all parts of the system and can be accessed remotely. We have a lot less oil-stained paperwork these days.

nice, that’s the dream right there. i highly doubt we’re in a position to entertain the purchase of such a package but if you want to shoot me a DM with rates I’d be interested for considering it ‘down the road’

The oil stains have transitioned to the HMI screen instead

Everytime you talk about your newest invention or build or how you are going to swing something in just another way it tickles my brain in the best way. <3 TYTYTY!

Best Buy was out of that size screen protector.

compliments to the insulation job :ok_hand:

definitely copping one of those elbows with a gauge port, hadn’t seen one of those before

Added that ourselves. lets the operator know if the spray ball is clogged

that’s whats up. we’ve got a wye strainer midstream in the recirculation track that (so far) has prevented that issue for us with great success. we have not however tested it on handling what results from a burst bag, and i hope to never have to

thinking a gauge there will be super helpful to this spray wand idea while not adding addition surface area to lose our ‘chill’ to

Good find though. That actually seems perfect for an odd r&d project I’m trying to do.

dope! happy that my blunderings turned up some useful stuff

Sounds like it would pump crude/distillate/tails with aplomb.

Yeah, and to very high pressures

That would probably reduce the solvent required for making infusing cement

What is the white covering?
