Isolating CBC

Anyone out there isolating CBC?
I’m interested in finding out a good method for isolation. I have seen some crude testing around 4% and distillate testing at 12%.

Whenever I see this type of thread, I feel the need to ask, are you sure that it is CBC? many cannabinoid isomers elute at the same time as CBC when testing, causing people to think that there is a significant amount of CBC, a pretty rare cannabinoid. I know there are are high CBC strains that could get you the real thing, but 9 times out of 10 its isomers from acidic conditions in the boiling flask during distillation.

What are the other Cannabinoids present? Is this from a high THC strain or hemp?

If it’s a hemp/high CBD strain I would go at it by isolating the cbd, concentrating mother liquor (remove solvent from isolation) and isolate again. Then concentrate the mother liquor from that, redistill if necessary, then use chromatography to isolate the CBC peak, remove chromatography solvent and then use recrystallization to purify.
