The few clients that have made complaints have been offered solutions.
We have verified with multiple scientists and multiple labs the contents of the CBD Isolate in question. I have discussed our process with multiple members of the forum and explained our test results. If you would like the explanation I urge you to DM me and set up a time for a phone call. In the coming weeks we will be sending free samples to certain parties on this forum to test and verify our isolate.
As Bret mentioned, we too have plenty of satisfied customers with both our isolate and distillate. A bad experience that can be easily fixed and discussed over the phone is not worth the negative comments.
Iām not offended by Bret posting his product on this thread. Heās a great guy and I applaud his business practices.
All members that had a negative experience and posted negatively I spoke to on the phone and offered solutions (most before they posted, and all after they posted). Most other industries would see these comments as libelous and written defamation and would proceed with litigation. We are poised to upkeep our level of customer service and make this right by our clients regardless of their unprofessional and negative remarks on an open forum.
I was offered to ship the product back, not get a refund for my test, wait for them to āanalyzeā my batch, and send me the correct batch (which you should have done the first time).
I want my money back, not your waxy wrong batch distillate. Sorry not sorry, but the product was trash. Bring my lab result to court for defamation why donāt you! Horrible business ethics.
Iām taking the L on this one. Enjoy the $$$. Iām outta here.
Bad form soliciting in someone elseās thread. And you are right NOONE wants to pay $1500 these days. There are lots of companies selling quality ND distillate with high minors in bulk for $1,000 each. People think because its priced low or high that it dictates the quality. Definitely not the case. The product/coa is what dictates the quality. The price is just set by whoever is slinging those items.
Isolate does not become waxy when you produce it large scale. If it is an isolate, by definition it should be of high purity. Based on the information provided by @Stevenvhoang and the amount of waxes he is removing, he was not sold Isolate. He should actually be getting a partial refund based on the amount of isolate he actually received after filtering.
Yeah, this can happen quite easily after winterization. If you slowly heat your solution to boil off some ethanol, then remove from heat and let sit for a period of time, THCa will crash out. This is due to the removal of ethanol changing the concentration gradient, and the solubility of THCa. There is no longer enough ethanol present to keep all the THCa dissolved, and thus it crashes out.
In my experience, it isnāt only lipids, but can also be terpenes. Depending on the strain (and I guess Hemp vs Cannabis) there could be a high enough content of specific terpenes in which CBD remains liquid at room temp. It may crystallize over time, but as others said, it could take much longer than a few days.
Terpenes wonāt prevent CBD from crystallizing in any capacity in my experience. Only terpenes I ever see in raw distillate anyway are the non volatile ones that get left behind like caryophyllene oxide, guaiol, etc and they are at like 0.2%. I think some of the inactives just serve as a bit of a carrier but who really knows without knowing what they even are. Someone else mentioned PH which I had never considered
I guess I made some assumptions without know the purity of the distillate. A lot of the distillate I have seen can range anywhere from 80% (very common for CBD) to 95%+ for THC. Its foolish to think that in an 80% distillate, the other 20% of compounds- usually mostly unknown/non-quantifiable- donāt play a role in the ability of CBD to crystallize.
Lol @Ruderalis710 -

When you threaten customers who talk about the real problems theyāve had with your lab, it instantly makes all of us Not want to be future customers.
High Purity took a major step back for a couple months, stopped taking new orders into our isolate program, and fully revamped our process from the ground up. We worked with the criticisms/critiques and didnāt take them lightly. Thank you to everyone who helped us through the process. We have finally reached a point where we are much happier with our product and are ready to release it again. We feel confident that our new process will consistently provide the community with the quality of isolate they expect.
We are offering free 5g samples to the first 200 people interested. Our sell price per kilogram is now sitting at $550.
