It’s about 6% total water in the biphasic ternary azeotrope of heptane:ethanol:water… but the lower of the two layers it creates in liquid state can contain up to 15% water, which messes with extractions after a few run make it too wet!

Yeah, we’re finding this bottom layer isn’t all that good at extracting cannabinoids…there’s really nothing there they want to dissolve in. Yeah, yeah, we’re working on that…got some biphasic drain cleaner or something we can add to that bottom layer. Gotta azeotrope the ternary stuff out of the way first though…probably got a membrane for that over in the diary somewhere…
