I’m currently in between distillation devices and have some small quantities of CBC from a newly commissioned process that I would like to distill. Short path won’t work, and I know a wiped film or rolled film will. I am curious if anyone within driving distance of West Tennessee has a small-ish (2-6 inch, glass or steel) wiper that I could maybe rent for an afternoon or two? I reckon anything within 4-ish hours of Memphis or Nashville.
I’m open to whatever arrangement - either I can pay for the rental time, or pay for your team to distill it, or I can perhaps give you some portion of the CBC distillate as payment. My real only stipulation is that the equipment is clean and well maintained, holds vacuum and is otherwise functional.
In this limited capacity, I would probably do my best to be present on site. For what little it may be worth, I am a professional process chemist/engineer and am generally helpful/knowledgeable in a lab/manufacturing setting - if on site, I am always happy to take a look at any process/operation and possibly brainstorm/offer (hopefully) useful ideas that could make your life easier during any free time.
Slip me a DM, I know I’m looking for a needle in a hempstack here.

Fuck man, if I still had my lab set up, I would totally lend a helping hand. I’ve got a 6in chinese unit in my shipping container, but have not run power out to it yet as the lab don’t pay the bills lol
How much material do you need distilled? Ive got a Better Flange SPD that absolutely cooks.

The problem seems to be that CBC doesn’t like the short path - the molecule doesn’t seem to be able to handle the high temp for long periods of time. Long ago, before most of my most recent process improvements, a short path totally killed 2kg of my CBC crude by just converting/degrading it into known and unknown cannabinoid-ish compounds. I haven’t repeated on newer (and possibly more stable) crude CBC material, but I can’t really risk what precious material I’ve been able to afford to make. A few other labs have corroborated this, saying short paths seem to ruin their material but short residence times on a wiper are no problem - which has been my experience as well with the two times I’ve had access to a wiper.
edit: forgot to say thanks for reaching out/offering, thank you @MedicineManHempCo
