Meh, I personally think itās just a can of worms that canāt be closed back up. Thereās quite a few sites that are advertising it, I donāt think theyāre all a bunch of honeypots.

Iām against sales that are clearly illegal from happening on this website because I think itās a heat magnet. But if the government actually wants to turn a blind eye to this stuff Iām in favor of letting them. There are tons of places where weed is technically illegal but functionally legal in some capacity like amsterdam and india.

As Moveweight suggested to me - state licensed operators will sue - this is impinging on their licensed market. Why get a state license and invest millions when you can sell primo MJ flower or THCa extracts isolates as high THCa hemp with no regulation.
This is the sort of thing that kept hemp suppressed in WA after it was legalised.
Oregon has clamped down too - they can see that many āhempā products actually belong in the medical or rec cannabis system so the licensees need to stick to 0.3% Total THC now.
And Californiaās hemp licenses were super limited.
They all recognised that much of the claimed hemp activity could overlap with what was restricted to cannabis licenses so just prohibited them - eg: no cannabinoids in foods, Total THC limits on flower and extracts etc. All obvious stuff that those experienced with legalisation pathways saw coming.
I honestly think it needs a very lazy lawyer to fail to find the obvious reasons why these āloopholesā arenāt anything such - but rather traps for young players.
Or is it the thin edge of the wedge of the victory of the hemp trojan horse?
Are we now effectively in a defacto legalisation with regulators having little interest in or resources for pursuing prosecution under an aggressive interpretation of the law?
