one of the gentlemen i ride with wants to grow some mushrooms. I was wondering if there are any stores that sell spores or inoculated substrate bags?
Miss Mush So Cal, InoculateTheWorld are usually my go too for cube strains, I’d recommend the golden teacher from ITW personally.
For grain bags MushCultSupply is good or he can just do UB Tek whatever floats his boat.

I would think people there getting spores mailed to them would just ask for them to be labeled as something else.

For pre-inoculated bags, I’d love to plug one of the places I use for agar! Genetics and grain bags are extremely affordable at a non-bulk rate as well - WoodlandMysticz.com
No all in ones though, there is a full on starter kit with materials required to spawn and instructions.
I also want to give a +1 for InoculateTheWorld, their genetics are incredible, and while it exists in the “gray”, their isolated cultures / liquid inoculants are fully-grown cultures that colonize pretty quickly, if you’re trying to skip the starting cultivation step of working with spores.

Grew these for a friend one of the funnest strains I ever grew. Fat and dense, yield was very nice especially for albinos. Usually more potent

I’ve been using www.sporeworks.com for 25 years. They even sell p. mexicana Jalisco spores that I picked in Mexico that make great magic truffles.
