Not saying anything against you guys, but literally every cannabis person Iāve mentioned that Iām doing industrial hemp stuff to says the same thingā¦ and then does nothing to get involved in industrial hemp lol.
Seriously, itās an extremely small subindustry at the moment (which isnāt good in a lot of ways - namely the lack of opportunities paying good money), but the pro is that you can make a lot of ground in a short amount of time. Just dip a toe in by going to an event or buying $100 worth of hemp hurd/fiber to play around with and youāll get hooked.

We all learned from 2019/2020 hemp industry, if you wanna have a legit industry, you cannot rely to just selling at headshops and gas stationsā¦
If the hemp industry makes a return it will need FDA approval and THEN you will see the industry grow. Until then itās just a small niche industry that is restricted.

Mine? nah, just had my biggest year yet. x200% growth over last year. I dont sell my products in gas stations or smoke shops.

so youāre saying, from the hottest point for hemp (2020) you made less money, and currently in 2023 youāve more than doubled growth and are somehow making more money than you ever have before?
that doesnāt make any logical sense, prices even at a retail standpoint are dirt cheap .the margins are ridiculously thin if you can ever manage to stay out the red .
many people on here, verified lab coats will tell you cbd / hemp is a race to the bottom and prices are reflecting that nowadays ā¦ dirt cheap cbd and delta 8 when it was 50$ per sku in 2020. now itās 15$-20$ for the same product .
youāre obviously very bias but itās smart to be able to see things outside your own box . but if your company can magically more than double growth in a declining , niche market, well youāve somehow just solved a new law of business. but i call bullshit , period. @sweethemp
hemp/cbd is and always was, a fad that was hot , and now itās not. thatās how the world works. itās good to be able to adapt and jump off a sinking ship. but if you wanna be the captain and go down with it, have it at.

If you arenāt crushing it in hemp retail right now it means you arenāt innovating and following the trends (backed up with quality.) Our best seller is a $70 vape SKU. Obviously itās different in each state and Iām sure you can guess we are in a non rec state. That being said the demand for quality oils is more than ever in my market, exacerbated by the gas station garbage.

imagine me buying a 150$ oz and selling it to some desperate 13 yr old for 800$ , just because I can, and then I have to go home at the end of the day , look myself in the mirror and attempt to convince myself , take myself seriously and not feel like a piece of shit . this is what you do everyday.

I just really want to hear what magical vape this clown is selling for 2x the price as all the other well established hemp slangers on google. but has the audacity to try and differentiate his product against shitty gas station product. when heās following the same business strategy
when i as a tourist went into a smoke shop in remote islands in hawaii not even they tried to sell a singular vape for 70$ and this was a year ago .
people have no shame
but then again, thereās still scumbags selling anti wrinkle cream to 80 yr old ladyās ā¦ so i guess the bottom only gets rockier the more you look into it
