To anyone that has seen/tried the Aether Green set up, do you like it? Is the $1500 price tag justified? My partner and I kinda want to get one but 1500 seems pretty steep for a 8 gallon steel vessel, a 5 gallon bucket with a sprayer attachment for portable rinse station, and the micron bag spacer set. Would I be better off just saving for a mini Osprey down the line?
I would also be interested to hear opinions on this.
This looks like it would be great for a hobbyist that doesn’t want to spend a ton! Commercially it would probably be annoying and create a ton of work compared to say a Mini Osprey (mine allegedly is ready this week - fucking stoked). I know the mini has a capacity of about 9kg fresh frozen and (allegedly) 12kg ff if you’re using a water chiller which for me would be the lowest possible amount I’d want to wash per batch in a commercial setting. If we’re scaling down equally since its a bit less than 1/3rd the size of that i’m guessing it’d comfortably run a bit less than 3kg? But just for fucking around in a personal grow? Seems rock solid.
That video is now private it seems.
It’s ok, Rosin Evo posted about it as well https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IVgXsiwnygA
Your seal of approval means a lot for this product. I don’t know if it’s still better to just save for an Osprey. Hmmm.
I wouldnt say that having never used it - it SEEMS useful though
Did you end up pulling the trigger?
@SubstituteCreature did you get your mini osprey yet?
Actually just got it today and it fucking rules
I sensed hash. Keep us updated long term.
Will do. It’s running literally right now. Feels nice to not have to fuck my back up.
Have you ever heard of this here? Heard it compared in discussion with the AG.
Actually just ordered the Aether Green automatic combo this weekend, I’ll let you guys know how I like it!
Fuck yeah. I’m close to pulling the trigger as well.
Let us know how it goes
It’s funny on Reddit and YouTube every single person is complaining how overpriced the device is and they could DIY something better made of some janky parts. Where as the people here are actually curious about a minimal business expense that saves a lot of time and provides something that is industry standard off the bat in a small unit like this. LOL
