Is rosin more popular now?

Yeah not one company you see right now will be in the industry in two years.

Nobody will compete.

I’d like to think the people who are calculating potential tax revenues understand the implications of unlimited canopy space and a drastic fall in prices

Doubt that. Not in a 2 year timeframe at least.

As long as you can move it.

I’d put money on my lab still being in the game in two years. Most labs in Oregon are going under because they cannot compete at the current market prices and we are thriving.

Sounds and looks like you’re in a primo spot for an $$$acquisition$$$ at some point @thesk8nmidget

We are moving it and only scaling to keep the shelves stocked. Every dispo wants to buy our products because were selling mids and higher quality at the same price people are “trying” to sell their bottom shelf boof.

Fresh frozen bho yields in that range too

If you take out the water weight it’s all the same

Thats the only way i wont be in the game in two years. But honestly i would probably still want to stay on board because i love and enjoy every day here. the team I’ve put together is some of my most favorite people and work feels like a day spent with close friends.

still takes away the machine from running product that produces more volume per run though which is why its not the best choice for high volume labs.

That’s a valid point. The per lb rate. Makes total sense why dry trim bho is more profitable

It’s a complex system. Tax and the combination of various financial applications change everything.

The typical paradigm of the industry of the "traditional markets - im talking the industry in general not traditional Vs licensed is not going to be relevant.

The race to the bottom for thca and other isolates will create a whole new market of valorization of new pharmaceutical products only contributing to consolidation of the bigger players to the new money of the industry.

@raghanded do not conflate the rise of an empire/market to the downfall. Rises are slow and steady and falls are fast and quick. I believe there is a username in this site that can be used an example this past week.

@thesk8nmidget i understand what you see now. I’m sure you will be in a great spot to sell when the market is ready. However, I believe the majority of the industry is discounting the repercussions of the market expanding. When it hits a certain size there are oleochemical companies that could switch a line and do the same numbers you do in a year with one run because of their Capacity. That same scale also pushed cost down and they will drop the price faster then you will ever compare. Most oleochemical company’s cost per ton on oil is about $50 bucks a ton.

I have an open checkbook for you if you survive. Love you to death as you and @cyclopath are so talented and will make it no matter what :heart_on_fire:

I totally agree to a point, and think the mass majority will be replaced by these massive corporations, i do alos know that those same people wont be able to keep quality as high as a smaller place can. i think that once that comes we’ll see a lot of ops switch to higher quality locally made dabs and you will be like all the craft breweries.

then those craft brewery like labs will get bought out by the budweiser brands and by then i’ll be driving around the country with my family just enjoying life and a nice vacation.

I do appreciate the kind words I know I’ll be fine either way though, cannabis is awesome but i have a handful of other opportunities awaiting for me when I’m ready to move on.

What’s the lowest you can sell a lb of bho for? $400?

How do you do 100%+ margin? You would have to be getting paid to take the material.

Remember margin and markup are 2 different things. 2x markup is 50% margin. Even if you marked up your product 10x it’s only a 90% margin excluding labor and overhead.

Trim product is not as good as live resin. We sell our trim bho for 3$ but the ff still gets 6. It works out for us to still run ff. Our ff outsells our trim 5 to 1

Yup and as far as I know it’s hard to move even at that ticket
