Is it normal for Cat 3 delta 9 to be slightly runny?

How can you tell??

You can see the miscolorization and the striations

can you post a better picture of the distillate jar itself a nice clear pic to see the color / translucency

I’ve had tests on d9 distillate come back like that

Almost 3% Delta 8 and 0 other cannabinoids seems very strange and I would tend to believe that it is a conversion.

Are conversions considered an inferior product??

To me they do. Because of the stereochemistry.

Not to mention who knows what the other 5% in your stuff is

I just noticed something else in your COA. Does the color of the sample in your COA look the same as what you have in the jar? Here’s a enlarged screenshot of it from COA-

I kinda noticed the jar looked a little darker, but it’s hard to say because sometimes the bigger jars look darker.

Here’s some I put into a cartridge to see if I could notice a difference compared to mine

In my opinion if you do not like the smell and the consistency and taking into consideration that you appear to know what you’re doing as far as distillation goes, I would give it a good wash and then run a pass and I think you should see a significant improvement… As long as there’s no surprises of course.

That was my original plan for those exact reasons, but now after trying it in a cart, I’m starting to wonder if it might be a waste of time. After adding terps the flavour is almost unnoticeable when I vape it.

Could you share one of the tests

I posted a COA above if that’s what you mean

As Long as you are fine with smoking 5% unknowns I see no problem with your decision

Even when I make my own distillate, I’m usually sitting around 90-95% thc so I imagine those are still unknowns?? Or are you implying that because it is a conversion there are orher unknowns?

Here is a traditional liter (non conversion) with high d8 from bleaching clay. But it has minors

I mean the lab could suck and just not reported any of them too

When I make my distillate even as low as 88%, my overall cannabinoids come back at 99%

I’ll see if I can dig up a COA from my own
