Investigating the usage of DSC for qualitative analysis of Concentrates/Edibles

I was wondering if anyone had any experience using a DSC (Differential Scanning Calorimeter) on various cannabis concentrates for qualitative analysis. I’m working on a project to introduce mid-process analytics at an extraction facility. I’ve used these instruments in the polymer realm in the past, and it seems like it could be usable resource for ensuring that finished products are consistent batch to batch.

However, I see a few flaws in this idea as well, and I’d love to hear from someone who has maybe attempted this already and can maybe give me some insight into their experience.
