Infusing terps into flower with steam

You know how spray packs are a thing now? I saw some ads for equipment to airbrush terps onto flower and I got to thinking about how some people rehydrate dry flower using clothes steamer.

I know the temp for steam would likely degrade the terpenes but would adding terpenes (CDT) to water inside a clothes steamer potentially allow the terps to penetrate the flower more instead of just spraying directly ontop of the flower?

Maybe they would end up just coating the surface of the flower similar to the airbrush tech but degraded by the heat. Interested in thoughts on this as potentially tech for getting the terps absorbed or infused in the flower.

Are you trying to figure out how to build a “box” at home?

Nope, wondering if terps would penetrate nugs in steam.

I would not use water.
when I get to jar curing I’ll spray CDT on the lid and inside the jar surface. therps evaporate. so they infuse themselves into the buds on their own after a few days.

Honestly that’s how I always thought the BOX worked. It evaporates the terps someway and supposedly destroys the volatile compounds.

I don’t know what the box is, can someone link to it or link to thread?

I think the terps are usually made volatile with ultrasonic, not heat. Like a pond fogger

Yes, Don’t Heat. Terps are volatile without anything they will evaporate on there own.
