Industry shiiiit

So I’ve been out of large scale production work for about two years. I had a few little side grows for personal stuff that was great, but definitely small amounts for extracts. I’m in Sacramento now and a manager at a dispensary…But have recently talked with a few grow\labs that reached out. Also just trying to reintroduce myself to the 4200 community.
One of my favorite photos is this giant slab of garanimals

Welcome back @Gumby! A change of pace is always good to keep things from going stale. Good to hear you are still in the weed game.

im here refreshing myself on isolate and Pentane/Acetone diamonds since thats what they are mostly making. And thats what I made the least. Any helpful spoons on those subjects would be awesome. Ive been digging through old forums and piecing stuff together. Lol but spoons are always nice. They have fuges and a column for cold crashing for isolate.

Guess the issolate should be easy since you seem to have the gear already

As for diamonds work from seeds ( issolate )

A tiny bit go s a long way 1/4 gram is already a good amount
Decide prior to starting wich route you want to take
Supersaturation from start is easiest

Approx 1/4 by weight of issolate is solvent ratio

Super saturation will give approx a yield of 55% by weight in diamonds

The question then is do you want to maximize this yield you will have to

Drop temperature slowly

Evaporate of solvent slowly

Or incase you chose acetone as solvent

Ad a antisolvent like water slowly I prefure to work with dry solvents but it does work

For antisolvents there are more options

as for solvent choice pentane is harder to get the issolate dissolved

Acetone dissolves faster both work a lot better warm for dissolving

The azeotrope of acetone/pentane can be used but I don t like it for its hard to reuse solvent wich often looses it s ratio in time

Acetone is nice and useful yust make sure of all material comparability s especialy gaskets

They’re mostly taking powder isolate and just doing jar tek with acetone in ovens

Definitely seen some nice looking diamonds in there

One of the first solvents I learned about extractions with!

Ketones :flexed_biceps:

Please don’t divulged what I’m doing in the lab on here man some of us sign nda & contracts…
