That’s fantastic… keep me posted on that one. Could be a really great further area of partnership.
I was thinking the exact same thing
“Let’s just build our own pressure vessels” falls under the banner of “more” I think.
So does this - I think @cyclopath would likely approve?
Japanese CNC from the late 70’s? Built like a goddamn tank I bet.
Runs on paper punch tape instructions though:
Good thing you can convert em over to being controlled by a laptop pretty easily
If you are gonna do the ASME thing hit me up.
I may have a few other things for you to make as well if you guys are interested in fleshing out a product line.
To be honest I really don’t want to be an OEM for much except just our own equipment, but if we’re getting a stamp the organization that holds it needs to be able to make money and not be a black hole, so… feel free to shoot me a message. We’re a ways out on anything stamp-related happening, but it never hurts to have a conversation to set the stage for when we get that far.
Shine on you crazy diamond
How many gallons are those kegs, and where did you procure them?
My calculator says that 100L is 26.46 gallons.
These are presently on clearance for $399 at USALab, the wheels are an extra $199.
@MagisterChemist
@echo89 , although the old coins should be relatively harmless and kinda cool to find!
@Lincoln20XX, What marketplace is that and when were those screenshots taken ?
That wasn’t on a marketplace, it was an email sent direct to me by a competitor - I managed to get on their distribution list for pricing blasts.
Those screenshots were taken immediately before I posted them, though the email went out July 19 - it’s the most recent one they sent.
Seems like your market could use some competition if I had some extra funds I would def invest!
Thaks for that info. I wonder how they are fairing with their pricing because … and please correct me if iI am wrong…it really isnt leaving much room for profit on b2b side with the way the market is today.
from what I am hearing and seeing with b2b @$25/g + packaging+excise+admin(qa&nncp) and then waiting for the province to cut the cheque (60 days in most cases) there is almost 3% in profit there to be had so you can not compete price wise. Provice marks it up and so does the dispo on top of that.
Seems like most b2b sales with LP’s are just to gain shelf space & appease investor relations. Super unstable to build a brand that way & without much profit I dont see these brands lasting long.
2¢
From what I understand they’re struggling super hard and making sweet fuck all for sales, even those prices are well accepted by all parties to be opening offers at best.
I keep joking that I’m going to need bodyguards when we start publishing pricing and offering bulk to the market. We’re gonna put a nail in the coffin of a lot of these companies projections.
Especially because we bother to do the math on making sure the companies that buy from us can make a dollar so they survive to buy another day.
On the extraction biomass side, LPs still don’t understand the difference between selling grams and selling milligrams. I’m not paying 1/3 more for trim that is 10.0% than trim that is 9.75% because 10% happens to be a magic number for pre-rolls.
Exactly, drowning your customers is a good way to ensure your vault stays full & bank stays empty
I worked in the BM for decades and mg’s are not a language most LP’s speak, many fail to comprehend that 1%=10mg so I know what your sayin
What bothers me is how high these operations get on their own farts & how they are constantly throwing flowers at themselves in an effort to “dominate the market” lol
Efficiency and transparency together with scale and quality standards are the future of the market, once we get to compete with the BM, then we will be at the forefront of change
We hydrotested our membrane skid today. Can’t wait to actually run some solvent through it. Hopefully tomorrow.
I’m trying to get better at the instagram thing so I’ll be posting stuff there instead of in this thread.
Eager to know latest, did the membrane skid work as advertised? Key metrics?
We are very happy with it.
Key metric: lots
