Indofabs C.R.C & BHO Color Remediation Tek

Fair enough, i dont know the volumes people are using just seen more talk of b80 and less of t5 lately in the relevant threads.

B80 works best when you dewax first

Just thought id share todays work.

on the left is material that has already been run through solvent once. then stored for about 6 months

on the right is the same material but ground to a flour consistency and ran using room temp solvent with a crc.

My B80 results have always been better than my T5. I run warm and don’t dewax. I use twice as much B80 as most folks here. 100g per 1lb of biomass. I recirculate my N-600 back through my material for about 30min before I recover. Never had water clear but pretty damn close. I’ve found no significant difference in yield between my CR and non-CR product.

I’ve planned to weigh my column after but for some reason my goddam brain doesn’t work right and I remember to weigh it about 3 seconds after it hits the bottom of my garbage can.

Hey guys. I just ordered my Color Remediation hardware, and instead of sifting through 6270 comments… maybe asking would be better.

What has been the agreed upon best combination of materials to press into my new hardware? I know I can reference the original recommendations, but I noticed that there has been some evolution of the process.

Anyone care to break down or give me a reference for where to find the best, most current technique to use my new hardware to make some high quality BHO? Thanks in advanced

I’m running a small closed loop, I was planning to do my standard 4 x 3lb tube day (12 lbs of dry material)…and then run the day’s product from the honey pot, through the new hardware, which will be filled with the T5, the magnesol, and the silica gel.

So, again, I am wondering, what is the verdict for the best technique and amounts, of which powders. Or, is the original post still the best?!

I realize i could probably get the answer from reading all 6200 comments, but I figure maybe I would ask this helpful community.
Thanks again, and thanks for having me  . AND thanks for the good work!!

I use n-butane, run through a dry ice coil and throttled to keep it extra cold. The material is always dried and frozen (not dried if live). There is 88 degree heated water that runs along the base of the main chamber of my machine (where the tube sprays into, before the hose to the honey pot). My plan was to send my 4-6 x 3lb tube day runs through the 4inch color remediation piece I ordered through this thread. Just looking for whatever guidance I can get… It is hard to tell which info on this thread is the most current, because there are so many posts.

You can search this topic just like you would search the site, just check the little box that applies your search query to only this topic. That’s about as close to a short cut as you’re likely to get on here.

Perhaps pay for a consult if you don’t wanna read the thread

Everyone has their own mix it seems really. If you want a guide, bvv has a little pdf on their site for reference.

It’s a trial and error process, start at 1:1 extract to powder and go from there.

Your asking for info that’s easy to find.
Isolate someone’s comments on this thread and you can read everything they wrote about the topic specifically. I isolated @BG305, @Waxplug1 and a couple others comments and read everything they wrote in thread to know what media to use, and how to use it. That and @Killa12345 helped when I was ordering my media from him. Ran some quick questions by him and he set me straight.

If your not baking your for sure pulling moisture into your solvent. Make sure to keep that sieve fresh.
Its actually crazy how much moisture is in b80 you should bakes some just to see if anything

I do a lot of things different then most people. I grind up all my material, don’t bake any powders during crc runs, and don’t use a sieve. i’ve never had moisture in any product. Yes i know what it’s like when you get moisture in your end product. It pops and sizzles like a mofo. Tek is dialed. run cold run fast run passive. keep it simple
