Was just thinking, wouldn’t I be better off having the 1 micron paper filter underneath my 5 micron sintered disk. So just Incase any media made it through the sintered disk I’d have the 1 micron filter under it as a back up…or is that what you were saying…?

I got a bellows from.him on Ebay I needed bad n got it fast af I def need to get some goodies homie u got tah halp muh lolz I need quality stainless miners n a CRC lol n I need to make a stainless sox I can apply a vacuum

Probably use the sintered disc last and the paper filter to catch particles instead of the sintered disk I assumed it was to prevent anything like adsorbants or celite from blowing through the qualitative filter paper

Ya you’re right that totally makes sense. Haha took a fat dab earlier and started thinking about it too much and over complicated it lol

I’m not sure if it matters the sintered disk is able to be cleaned

I’m sure someone knows better than me I’m still looking to build my crc only have few parts it does make sense to go from larger micron to smaller in filter stage

I think the majority of us are staging. I start will an 11um then down to two 6um and my last is a 1-3um.

I use my 5um weled disc first, then paper and screens just in case shit. I also double my papers for a tighter fit. I take mine down to 2um screens and 2.5 paper

Could this stone also be used to make a falling film style recovery system

Your oil would clog the stone. It would eqap the solvent before making it out, ya?
