I’m still getting the hang of it. But this is the color we’re going for currently. A lot of people are skeptical in our scene of the straight water clear.
I wanna try to make some soon though. But going for that nice live resin color
All the starting material is super terpy trim but the dude never keeps its cool and I get it a few weeks late so it comes out like a darker to light amber. I’m definitely stoked on how my progress has been going. I had flow issues once out of about 30 runs. So can’t complain.
Also the jar in the middle that’s starting to crash out was only 3-4 hours after I capped the jar. And all my oven tek diamonds crashed out super quick as well. Definitely liking it for diamonds

I used 100g each of silica, t5 and actived alumina.

Per #?

Oh sorry I thought I put it in my initial post. 100g of each media per 4x48 column(typically 4lb). Quite a few times used the same media in the crc, up to 3 times with 4x48 columns each run with zero color difference. I think the one clogging issue was from that. So now we change out every other run.

Hey all with all this colortek and constantly comparing subjective colour grading amongst my team. We put together a colour grading chart to get some continuity.

ditch the alu and try magnesium silicate in its place, try running more media as well.

What have you found magnesium silicate grabs? Have you experienced losses with it?

I haven’t really noticed any loss. The magsil usually has green and blue bands of color trapped in it after the extraction.

Don’t feel sorry for me I just got this far and there’s a couple thousand posts to go.
Y’all muthafuckas are beasts! Thanks so much for sharing!
I will be commenting soon. Gotta go back thru.

How much per lb material? And to clarify, this is just normal magsil, not PR right?

we recommend a 3" C.R.C for between 1-3 lb biomass, it has a filter bed length of 6" typically you’d use 1.5-2 inches of each powder in the bed.

What would you recommend for a 7-8 lb biomass run. Considering upgrading to a legit welded in sintered disc plate

4-6" would work what size columns do you have?

Yo guys. Where can I buy magnesol and alumina.

6x36 and 48 is what Im running.
Will a 4 in be ok

6 in by 36 column.

a 6" is your best bet. I like to size to the material column
