Well the label says carbon and silica and I dont see either of them, I’m starting to think he did that and added glass beads to throw ppl off from making their own blends

Definitely looks likenyou had channeling. You should try to pack a little more evenly

Ya I meant to put in that post it’s been a almost 2 days since it was run and the media was way more even after initial disassembly. There were no chunks and only a slight look of channeling down the sides. It’s been moved around a lot and I fucked with it after the run to see how deep the pigment went down. But yes I will definitely pack it down more tightly next time. I just poured it in and that was it.

Yes offwhite very fine powder

My media is never chunky like that. It pours out the same way it pours in. I would venture to say that you left behind some oil in that.
