Both live right is regs. left is filter. It came out clear but after recovery had a little yellow to it. Still looks fantastic to me. just curious on the terps? all run passive and took about 15 minutes to push all the way through. flow rate was slowed but still went through well in my opinion. diamonds started forming 3 hours after pour!
used silica t-5,-and celite.

Some are very stable, some are flexible shatter, meaning it can bend yet past a point it’ll shatter and break very easily.

Your water clear comes out flexable, how big of slabs

Even my gold I get through the filter is stable shatter. It’s all about how the material is cared for. If there is still a lot of moisture content in the material it will come out soft or snap and pull, in my experience

I have just notice when i have a touch of color its softer than water clear. Water clear has been brittle. Same material same day. Different powders

@Stickznstemz And @Sriley28 I don’t have the number on me there in my lab book. If I remember correctly it’s
Silica 80g
Magnesol 80g
T41 60g
Silica 80g

I’m only running 1200-1500g of material per run
With a 5:1 ratio of gas per # of material. Since I started experimenting with the filter I only do smaller runs. I did a normal run and messed up over a # of product. Never again. Proper size micron filters is crucial

Yes, you need a min of 5um for magnasol

Did you notice magnasol grabbing stuff . I only notice when it was on top withou celite above it

I had that. On a run the pressure came in so high from the tank it ripped a filter paper and let the powder into my recovery. Smh all bad luckily we were able to isolate the recovery, remove if, clean it and get it up and running again. Since then I have an empty filter plate on top and bottom of the filter stack to act as a buffer and added protection

It doesn’t seem to visually grab anything. I ran it without it and the run didn’t seem as stable as a run with it.

I have a 5um screen gasket and 5um sinster disc

Maybe that is what is causing brittleness

Looks great! I just ran some diamonds waiting to see how they come out. Do oh run the only the strong tech? What temp do you have your diamonds growing at?

I love seeing this community constantly hitting it out of the park!

Thanks @thesweetlife to be honest I haven’t read that thread. I just figured it out by doing experiments on my own a while ago. Just by watching and paying attention and seeing what worked and what didn’t. I’ve noticed some strains start to crash at different temps more or less but I usually start them out at 87

I have not had anything leake through and I have been pretty happy with the flow rate being passive and pushing through all those clays. I wonder if I should try T 41 instead of the T5 and see if it makes a color difference? These experiments have been fun. Thanks all who have contributed to this thread

The t41 will allow 2 runs on the same filter, but adds a certain nose burn to the smoked product. experiment and see, knowledge is power!

I’m guessing you are putting the t41 on top?
