hi guys it me again. I’m in the process of buying a 10lb closed loop system, in the turn key quote the quoted me on a dzf-650 vacuum drying oven, my first question is , is this oven big enough to pair it with the 10lb closed loop and keep the production going ?
second question is , do i need to implement nitrogen in this system for the crc ?
any bottlenecks that u can point out on this unit please do let me know, and what else I’m going to need to run the unit optimal will also be a major help, I’m moving from a 2lb unit up to this one so its a major improvements and don’t want to mess things up
greatly appreciate all of u on this forum and your input
I’m sure the vendor knows what they are talking about.
Let’s assume your running flower @ 20% return. Getting in 3x runs per day. 5 days a week. So you’re gonna be processing 150lbs a week. With a return of 30lbs of concentrates a week.
Do you think this fits in a single oven of any size? You can work this math problem for trim at 8-10% or higher productions flower at 25%.
I’m sure your vendor asked about this bottle neck. It’s usually the first thing I ask potential clients. You definitely gonna need nitrogen for a crc on a 10lb system. Make sure every chamber that nitrogen can settle has a blow off valve.
If you need some more across international ovens in the future. Give us a call.
I was going to say give us a call but I don’t want to step on your toes lol. In all seriousness, I have only heard good things about Killa so I would highly recommend working with him!
Imho you are far better off buying a 2lb system from @Killa12345 than a 10lb system from “china” in a trump voice. @Killa12345 has shipped here before and meets the safety standards you want at the price we can afford. There are multiple “china” in a trump voice systems sitting idle due to manufacturing/user oversight. Be smart, buy from @Killa12345 or a similar vendor.
I appreciate the recommendation but we are getting out of the extractor game. I’m not sure if we even have 2lb extractor’s left. But once our current inventory in extractor’s is gone. We won’t be restocking.
We don’t wanna end up getting sued by gene pool or selling equipment that could hurt someone. We have gotten lucky so far with adequate quality controls but I’ve made enough money and I’m happy quitting while I’m ahead. We will continue to sell all the parts still but extractors and diamond miners will likely disappear from my website this year.
Our business is booming. We will always service our clients, but CLS systems and diamond miners just don’t pay the bills these days.
This experience still lingers in my mind just about every day I’m in my warehouse. Be safe guys
Fairs fair. My point being rather that choosing a solid vendor is worth the downsize/processing bottleneck over a 100lb stainless paperweight. You’ve always been a solid guy; if its my money, I’m always choosing those that have irl experience, genuine interest in helping and less interest in profit. @Killa12345@AlexSiegel@Zack_illuminated@Photon_noir@Lincoln20XX@MagisterChemist Are but a scratch of the types I refer to. There are many more that elude me currently, but I stand by the sentiment, good folk make good gear and better hash.
We guided a potential client towards @BizzybeeTeam yesterdsy.
I’m not gonna throw the vendor under the bus but they called about an extractor for a licensed facility. This state required asme certificated equipment but the vendor just offered an extractor which from their site was not asme certified.
We quickly told them; we aren’t the ones for this job and had them call Boris. I would have recommended @IlluminatedExtractor but this guy had bizzybee budget not illuminated. Plus it wasn’t that scale either. Just not the right fit.
We have no issues referring the right vendor for the right job.
Case and point. Ask the right questions and you aren’t shy to help. There are a few paperweights out here sitting doing nothing because the seller has zero clue how the machines are actually supposed to run let alone having even run the simplest version there of.
Possibly more terrifying are the hideously unsafe 12” collection pots with single pin clamps running propane HEAVY mixes and N pushed CRC; due to local cowboy “know it alls”.
Being smart about vendors is all I suggest, even if it means a smaller system/more capital.
Isn’t the BB crew refurbishing used units too? That might be an avenue to check out. I understand why some folks don’t feel comfortable buying used equipment but there’s so much of it. Having a pro go over it is a nice bridge.
I think they are just waiting to find a used bizzybee on the market. They aren’t in a rush and want to be strategic about how they spend their money. They thought moving into a new facility with a fully decked out c1d1 room meant they needed to fill it despite not being in the hydrocarbon extraction game.
Xtractor Depot has the Catalyst for an affordable 10 pound system. That’s probably the one I’d start with if I had a super limited budget, but wanted new equipment with certifications.
On the other hand, there are tons of good used systems out there. There are also many talented consultants who can help find a good used system to purchase, as well as tackling any needed modifications to get it recertified and tailor it to your needs.
California extraction supply has some very affordable and good quality used 10lb CLS build outs
Check the used equipment section or give them a call reaching them directly on the phone is really easy, no call queues just call and a human picks up.
