The GC is less expensive to buy (costs $10,810), requires almost no maintenance, and is portable. You can fly with it as airline baggage or throw it in your truck to test in the field.

having flown with this critter, it’s smaller cousin the 420, and moved an 8610C around town about a dozen times, I can vouch for that

Little disappointed that I had to check the 420, was really hoping it fit in the overhead bin.

after we get a bunch of validation samples in this week… we probably can help with this. i dont know how you guys werent getting consistant results from the SRI but everything we tested was within 1-2% of each other yesterdays with the same sample ran around 5 times just to see any errors.
