the nightmare s they have given me
recently packaged up an SPD for a visit to a local glass blower to solve this issue.
I believe the plan was swapping the GL connections for 24/40’s. Glass was back in under a week, but I didn’t get to open the box before heading to my next gig.
@tweedledew can probably address how much it cost to remove the GL-14 connections from two cold traps…

I’ve got a good working relationship with these guys. But I think it was $200 (CAD) to have them clean the cold traps and pop on the new fittings. They threw in an adapter if I wanted to run them at the same level instead of staggered height as well.
