Damn brother, that’s some scary shit right there. I was trained to work in all of the adult ICUs, I did a 3 month internship in a very large (burn) BICU. Hatted every minute of it. The absolute worst memories in my head, they come from that experience. Thankfully you and your family dont have to go through that.
Scary Burn Fact: If we use the rule of 9 we can find out the body surface area that’s burned.
You take the percent burned add your age----and that’s the chance your going to die.
So if you are 30y/o and recieved 50% burn— 80% chance of dying.
