I resent the fact that virtually every single person I know thinks CBD is a scam thanks to all the fake hemp oil products

Man, it sucks cause its made it impossible to get anyone to try it. “No thanks, I did and it did nothing”, becuase they were misled by marketing branding hemp oil as a CBD product. Really irks me.

Yeah it’s ridiculous. People thinf snake oil because of shit like HEMPZ. THC products work better but if you don’t smoke CBD Really does wonders . I got a couple old ladies in the neighborhood that can walk because of me giving them it

Now is this just a thread to complain or are you going to offer any sort of you know…answer.

I hate that every supermodel I hit on says i’m a sweaty hairy guy that’s way too loud BUT HEY GUESS WHAT THAT’S LIFE! GET A FUCKIN` HELMET AND NAVIGATE ACCORDINGLY. Nobody’s gonna give you a redo ticket so stop bitching and start figuring out a solution OR alternate industry.

And dude it’s fucking 2022, if they haven’t tried CBD yet they aren’t. 7 times out of 10 you could give me CBD from the best company in the world and it’s not like it’s going to shoot rainbows out of my ass, dilate my pupils and make me go ‘AHHHH IT FEELS LIKE GOD HAS AWOKEN INSIDE OF ME!!!’

May I suggest selling crack if you want that sort of reaction from people. I hear heroin is also popular. Large trenchcoats with multiple pockets for holding your product will also raise your legitimacy in the market.

Bonus points if you can ride on a small child’s shoulders so you can seem like a massive super drug dealer with spot on fashion sense.

I love your writing style lmao.

So your opinion is CBD is a sinking ship? I’ve thought that way since all these other noids.

Glad to see you paving your own way adter lurking for like a year, been cool to watch. Trying to do so now (albeit small small time)

Crazy tk hear you think that i still see cbd stores pop up eberywhere. But in smoke shops I see THCO and HHC type vapes.

Honestly though give samples. If it works they’ll buy more, not much too it just dose it accordingly

I don’t think it’s a sinking ship, but I think it’s market is firmly established already. It seems like this gentleman is trying to push CBD on people like they’ve never had it before - Grandmothers are buying CBD on their own volition these days such as you detailed. The market is oversaturated - this argument is akin to ‘MY WATER I’M DUMPING IN THE OCEAN IS SPECIAL AND UNIQUE, THE WATER EVERYONE ELSE IS DUMPING IN THE OCEAN IS MAKING IT HARD FOR MY SPECIAL AND UNIQUE WATER TO THRIVE’.

Now. Instead of bitching he could have done 3 things here.

  1. Marketing your oceanic water. Natty ice is dogpiss beer but it finds a market. Period.

  2. Articulating your issue with your competitor’s products and keeping it nonspecific (aka professional, seems like that one will take a bit) and letting them (consumers) know the same issues are not present in your products backed up by actual information and research

3. Whine and bitch and blame it on everyone else.

Wait nevermind he did that. 2 things then. And that’s just off the top of my head.

If your products don’t stand out in the market YOU DON’T MAKE GOOD ENOUGH PRODUCTS TO STACK UP AGAINST THE SNAKE OIL.

Thank you! It’s allowed me to near-fail several psych exams

Although I do have to say I see the ‘CBD’ market and ‘weird minor that gets you high as giraffe pussy’ markets as separate.

*isn’t directly to you sub, the poster too.

I’ve honestly not tried a noids since d8 came out and messed my lungs up. (My fault I dabbed it)

Do these new ones really get you high like that? Insane.

But yeah I live in a retirement town and the older people are for sure for sure catching onto the benefits. It’s just everything is 350mg for like 40$? I give them a 5,000mg lotion for half that… says it works wonders.

Package formulate it or market better!

I went into earth fare and it was 65$ for a 1,000mg cbd stick -.-

I’d say it’s the quality of the labs, too - these days you’re not finding a lot of ‘fly by night’ type setups because the spots that have the ability to properly scale and not lose quality have done just that to be able to ‘catch the overflow’ of customers who are obviously going to be dissatisfied with the output they’re getting. Outside of that though a lot of packaging has the ‘local business commercial on cable TV’ effect. Like I’m in my mid 30s and I can liken a lot of CBD packaging to the local business commercials i’d see in northeastern CT growing up. Tons of businesses who actually had decent budgets and resources but they’d put out a commercial like it was filmed from the inside of an asshole - BUT there are the exceptions to the rule who are now NATIONAL contenders. Bob’s Furniture is a perfect example of that - while every other company was cheaping out on their commercials in overwhelming ‘fuzzy-picture-fests’ Bobs always had a sharp hook, good production value and a recognizable image that you equated with quality.

If that doesn’t sum up this entire thread and wrap a bow on it I don’t know what will. “Get busy branding or get busy dying”

Hempvana is my favorite of the CBD/hemp scams

I fucking call those out every time I see some bored housewife try to prey on a nice elderly woman on FB and will til the day I fucking die. Fuck you and your ‘live laugh love’ bullshit bed bath and beyond wall hanger that you bought by scamming some fucking old lady into buying your CBD shake

I really like the cbd pillow and wrist guards at Walgreens as seen on TV section. Definitely is a snub to everyone here trying

My wife comes to me “they got fda approval. What the fuck are you doing?” Explaining to you dear that they got that because it doesn’t contain CBD. It has some hemp oil specifically listed as a moisturizer and lidocaine for pain🤬

Those posts are soooo fun to bust up because the reps know fuck all about what they’re selling - Anyone who has a friend of a friend whose toured a lab could blast apart any knowledge base they have.

Felt this way until I tried some quality CBD flower for the first time a couple years back. Everything I tried before was a bunk cash grab. Hopefully higher quality prevails as time goes on.

I talked about this a bit in the Pepsi CBD thread . . .

You can self-certify anything as GRAS for nutraceuticals supported by structure/function claims. The FDA either approves it or denies it. If there are damages from something non-approved that is claimed GRAS, you’re gonna be in a world of hurt. Who wants to be the first to do it for CBD?

For fulvic acid to be considered GRAS as an antioxidant function, we hired lawyers to discuss structure/function claims. We had a panel doctors and tests present so that we could make the extremely narrow claim that fulvic acid functions as an antioxidant. And that is how the FDA works.

I heard some people are able to get their Ethanol/C1D2 Labs certified as a GRAS Facility and they get tax exempt for the Ethanol. Or some shit like that.

Just for the ethanol. And nothing pertaining to claims for “hemp oil” or CBD, AMIRITE? Let’s see you make some claims about CBD, people!

My last work was approved to sell CBD via Amazon. They had to label the product as hemp extract and could not include CBD anywhere on the label. lol.

Your last work was not approved to sell CBD on Amazon, they skirted the rules through deception.
