That is very cool. Back when I was a god-fearing fool I served a mission for the Mormon church. I lived in Hungary for two years. Awesome experience and very difficult language but I learned it pretty well. Been back a couple times and really love the country still. Even had some Hungarian trimmers at the pad in Mendocino.

I’ve been having trouble with cloudy slabs for a a couple months now. I have read the thread on “cloudy slabs” but don’t get the direct answer I’m looking for. I’ve been using CRY for my media. I’ve tried other media recipes and keep getting these cloudy slabs. Any idea why else I can do to get clear/stable not cloudy slabs?

Cloudy always leans towards lipids or moisture in my experience, with early sugaring being a third cause sometimes.

Zeolite and clays are great processing materials but those first two concerns can remain a problem despite using media. This is one reason to bake your media regardless of type. Are you keeping cold enough conditions during extraction to avoid picking up fats & waxes?

If the slabs sugar up after a while then you might actually be suffering from success. Purifying material to a high level and doing a low and slow purge can definitely crystallize your slabs.
