It’s a trip to go back and read those last messages he and I shared, as I’m sure you also do. I’ve always been a huge swag slut, but will put more pressure on making sure Derby jackets are available in this space. We’ve seen custome lab coats and innumerable hoodies…time to step up. We made bomber jackets briefly at CC, but derby jackets with custom liners is the gold standard.

CC has always stayed away from equipment specifically. Part of that comes from having good relations with so many great manufacturers! Precision makes an interesting system for storing solution prior to CRC. I’m a huge fan of AMP manufacturing, ETS, Bizzy, Quality Stainless, Indofab, NBoler, etc as you can really get anything you want if you ask. Price might be a limiting factor, but I would always suggest giving US manufacturers like I listed a shot first before cutting corners.

She and I talked about doing that years ago, and I would be honored to build his memory into a design that reminds of his spirit. People forget that water clear and D8 came from a confluence of Victor, Photon, CC, and Columbo. If I’d had my way we’d have already had a line of Derbys from 9 for a few years

The oil side of this industry has been that rare opportunity to participate in the birth of a new market.
So many people have been able to teach themselves a skillset that usually requires lots of schooling before getting a chance to actually operate. If oil production required a bachelor’s degree we would be missing some serious talent that has pushed this game hard.
