I need a new grill anyways. Gonna probably sell my pellet one to someone who can fix it w pellets included for cheaper and buy a cheap charcoal or propane grill.

Only road out of my neighborhood was flooded for 3 days until this afternoon. Helped 4 different cars that tried to make it through and had their engines ruined by water push their cars out of the flooded road.

People stop trying to drive you Kia Soul through waist high of water! You like totaled car? Cause that’s how you total your car.

Glad you’re ok. How deep was it you think?

At the deepest it was up to my mid thigh and I’m 6’5 so probably like 3 feet? Give or take

But then a lot of these newbies to florida would haul ass through it and that wave would go up another foot or 2 and fuck them

I just saw the video yea, barely any service still lol

Thats still pretty significant wow. If only I had my kayak there lol. I was expecting more flooding in my neighborhood but it all drained off into the west part of it where the new builds were, all the houses and construction saved us

Jesus lol. Think they’ll ever learn?

Nah, always fresh meat moving to Florida every day

Houston. Ike was 2008ish, we had Rita a few years before which was pretty bad(at least the evacuation was). Harvey didn’t hit my hometown too bad fortunately

Oh ok. I use to live in sugar land and near the mall.

I remember y’all got hit too. We got hit like 3 our four back to back. It was like all cat 4 and a 5. I was like 7th grade maybe?

I had a month and half from school off. So dope.

And we have power baby!

As soon my generator is brought into the shop AND the fridge was lost, we get power not even 12 hours later

Life has a cruel way of teaching me lessons

Ugh. I’m sorry about the set backs. You’ll be that much better off the next time

Here in Miami we faired well, but in Sarasota there is devastation. A few of my instagram Canna fam are really struggling and have lost everything. Please find individual mutual aid funds and support them!

Hope all you are doing the best you can right now.

Looking into moving that way. Licensed plumber in Cali and I’ve heard I can put it to use in Florida to help. Wife and I are looking to move to the west coast of Florida to try to help. Little business we have but figured helping get potable water and help making poop go away may be good.

If any of you Florida friends have in sight I would appreciate it.

Even if you just move there temporarily. You can make some big money chasing storms, atleast in the restoration industry.

Oh no, I hope the power has come back since! I am working on filling a box with necessities for a dear friend in Sarasota. I hope you have fared better than some of the communities with RVs etc.
