cheapest “at home” would be an old GC. nothin stopping you from running an HPLC in your house but its gonna cost more

if you just want to quantify d9, maybe get down with some TLC plates… are you familiar with thin layer chromatography?

NIR seems to be a good alternative. According to this paper NIR allows to check cannabinoid content quite well without all the screwing around required for HPLC
